Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have now become the leading cause of mortality in India. The sustainable development goals set by the United Nations in 2015 call for a one-third reduction in premature mortality from non-communicable diseases by 2030 under one of its targets.
As part of management of NCDs, Trinity Care Foundation with CSR support from Dotdash Meredith India has initiated a public health project in a Government PHC in Ramanagara District, Karnataka with focus on Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs).
