My Dad was in 3 Regiments during his career. The Coldstream Guards, then the Gurgas (sic) Then the Royal Engineers. He served 3 years in Each. He was due to be stationed in Northern Ireland, but refused saying he felt something was about to happen, yet he was not yet in Ulster. So how did he know, awesome. August 31st 1969 it all started I was just5 months old.
I wish when I played a flute with another band I had of learned that combo. easier said than done and you Lads know it. But I award you from my point of view. The lad in Red a B, for the other lad A star, your out standing.
I don't have a "Political Basis" Im drummer, ok, I am and this looks difficult when in actual fact it's not difficult to play. I've noticed that lots of these flute bands drum corp are terrible... You lads should stick to your triplets, paradiddiels, single/ double stroke rolls, 5/7 stroke rolls. flams, drags, radamacues, triple radamacues, ruffs, swim triplets, and so on... I would be 95% sure these young part time drummers wouldn't have a clue what I'm talking about. they're trying to sprint before they can even walk. Cheers, Rian G .. Professional Drummer/ Drum Teacher.
@@kyler1487 Kyler, I’m from Belfast 🤙🏻 I’ve been to many parades from a young child, to leaving Belfast to go study at Berklee at 19 years old/ Bachelor of Music in Performance: Percussion, to then coming away with a PhD/ Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance… So I’m pretty well qualified to critique these lads. Keep practicing, kiddo..
It's dreadful mate, such sloppy playing.. slack triplets/ slack double stroke rolls terrible grip on the stick/ no finger control etc.../ I suppose the loyalist scene one day. a. week drummers think there's nothing like it... Ugh.. BTW I'm not a. catholic or protestant, I'm an ulster man..
Brilliant
I love your drumming. Red you up to an A. Now get that Star and you have won

After watching the person in the red B + you have now up-graded yourself. from the end drum roll.
The reason for my result is, the person in Navy is faster and more Accurate.

We’ve swapped to white drum heads
