Lyric base was from a generator, and I made changes. The audio, music, vocals, everything, was all generated by Suno. I generated four different versions and this one was by far the best. The others didn’t have that 80s sound I was looking for.

@@jeff97-polar After too many failed attempts to achieve something that sounds like this, I scoured Reddit. Apparently Suno v3.5 has trouble outputting melodies reminiscing the 80s/90s and it's recommended to use v3 which can. Now, v3 has a limit of 2 minutes per song, so, if your song comes to over 2 mins, generation will stop and you will have to extend it. It bums me that I have to use that workaround but I had some success with v3, although nothing that hits the spot quite like "Sorry I Didn't Text You Back"! The Style of Music I use is *80s AOR, 80s Melodic Hard Rock,Keyboards*. From what I hear, the lyrics also influence the generation of the melody but I haven't wasted a generation to prove that point.
