Well Tipsy travellers, like your content, i am doing camino potrtuguesse coastal in september, i was planning on getting the ferry from caminha to A guarda and continuing up the coast, did you decide to go TUI route out of choice or is ferry not running?

I was on that trek at the same time as you, but chose to do shorter stages the first few days. the weather was great! I turned inland at the border.

Depending on when you were posting these, I may have been just a couple of days behind you. I started at the bus station in Valença and walked across the bridge into Tui my first day. I stayed in the same hotel in Tui that you did. The next morning when I left Tui was when the rain started, so my walk along this section was a little different. No bag pipers playing in the woods. I also stopped at that first cafe, which was packed inside due to the rain, and then discovered the next cafe down the road a hundred meters or so. You definitely took the wrong direction going into O Porriño, even in the rain it was a much nicer walk to the left. The path went through the woods and along side a river most of the way.

I very much enjoyed your videos with all the updates at the end of day. You both were so pleasant to watch. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. I was wondering what app you used for booking your lodging along the Camino. I have been looking at different locations and not seeing the same kind of rates that you mentioned in the videos. Also what app were you using that showed how many people got their Compostela's each day?

I’m Portuguese and I have to say that I’ve always felt welcome in Galicia (the region of Spain you’re now), people where all very friendly.

Thanks for documenting your pilgrimage. I thought about doing it some years ago, but then read about all the tragic stray animals along the route and realised I can never go. (Unless I win the lottery and can help them.) Must have got a lot worse?

Good pronunciation of Apulia but Esposende… Haha! Good luck on the rest of the pilgrimage. And drink some refreshing vinho verde, you’re in the right area for it. (I’m Portuguese just to clarify)
