After waiting for a long hour and a half wait, we finally got a seat at the Sugo located at Bloor and Lansdowne Atmosphere: There weren't anything special about the interior but the combination of packed crowds and the music made the restaurant super lively and fun! If you are looking to dine in peacefully, perhaps takeout would be better :) Food: Did I mention an hour and 30 minute wait time? Well it's worth it. Their daily menu doesn't include fancy ingredients like truffles or caviar, but they have truly mastered the basics. The spaghetti and gnocchi was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and plated. We also ordered a side of meatball which were soft and juicy, pairing perfectly with the pasta. There were no special unfortunately, but we will be coming back to try their pesto based pasta (and everything else on the menu). We are seriously hooked!! We would rate Sugo a solid 4.5/5 considering the quality, taste, and price.
