Original Broly was the coolest villain ever. He had a sadistic personality and awesome dialogues. It was the later reincarnations that made him say "Kakarot" over and over. Also, Super is absolute trash, not just in terms of story and plot, but in terms of character designs, art style, coloring, very lack luster fights and bad animation, plastic, shiny and waxy art/coloring, even the sound and the music tracks are bad. Cringe kid music and punches/kicks that didn't sound impactful, the explosions never looked anywhere as impressive as the explosions in Z. Goku was retarded while in Z he was serious and mature. DBZ had legendary intros, even GT had a legendary intro that people are still singing and using today, I literally can't remember a single intro from Super, they were all crap.

I mean I'm glad you said cuz I've been seeing it for a long time I said I don't give nobody said Dragon Ball and franchise ended with Dragon Ball GT Heroes legacy. The franchise is done. You don't need to see it again and here we go with super super sucks super makes no logical place to continuity. It's lackluster it makes the characters stupid and for what just to get different color hair changes for useless transformations that really didn't do much of nothing . It's weird and it's kind of all over the place. The show ended with Goku passed on Dragon Ball to Goku Junior and that was it.

Toriyama was just a bad writer in terms of creating more serious stories. Even back in the day it was Toei that was holding him together, politely asking or nudging the story into better directions (Cell arc is as good as it is because of Toei, not Toriyama) When Super came and he had free reign again to come up with new ideas (even if only in drawing boards and notes he'd send to Toyotaro and the studio) it was palpable that the man was not only going senile (he himself openly complained about his own mental state -- numerous times), but also losing the little passion he had for world building. Sad but true. Super is a third rate product, and unfortunately, it is going to stain all games from here on out.

DB is DB, I love it more than Z. DBZ is DBZ, I like it more than Super. Let DB Super be DB Super... don't like much about that series except for that final battle at the ToP. In the case of the villains. I like both Broly-s (the crazy one and the timid one), I like Cooler, I definitely love Janemba, I like Freeza (DBZ minus the cyborg), Didn't like Cell, I like Majin Boo and Boo. But compared to Emperor Pilaf, Kao Pai Tek, the OG RR army officers from DB series... I love these less OP villains more. Hey, everybody has their own opinions, for me - I love the villain on how they made a good story great beside other good main characters.

Sounded like you really needed to get that of your chest bro... Now in all seriousness I completely agree with. After Akira Toriyama finished the manga it has only gone down hill. GT wasn't the best, but at least it was original. Toyotaro is nothing but a copycat (and quite a bad one at that). Now that Akira Sensei has passed and we may never get to see Drgaon Ball Daima, it's probably time to just let the goat go. My original DVD collection is not going anywhere anyway.
