A Sea Wall could work depending on the severity of the Quake but.....could a Sea Wall withstand a 9.0 or higher Quake? Depending on the size of the Quake a Sea Wall might be a mote point. Modern man has with one or two exceptions never witnessed a truly massive Mega Tsunami resulting from an equally massive Quake as is expected here.

I do have a serious inquiry. What is the plan for the outlying cities and towns to the east, when refugees from Seattle and other various towns are devastated? Is there a contingency plan for Spokane, the Tri-Cites, and other towns who will have to deal with thousands of people fleeing devastated towns looking for shelter? Thank you.

Also work out an incremental sea wall construction to best advantage (have engineers figure out where to place smaller sea walls to best advantage until they can be merged into a larger system. (since this will take time and we can't know when it will actually happen.)

Get a sea wall up to absorb some of that wave energy.like Japan did. Make sure Fema has an outside base (out of harm's way) with the supplies that can be air dropped to road blocked areas of the coast at safe locations with county operations according to population safety priorities. Also, have a plan in place to utilize people in safe shelters so they are occupied and not too focused on what they have lost which can collaspe their ability to handle the crisis after it's past.

Over the last few years, I have really come to admire Selinda Barkuis. She has done her very best. I started closely following her When Jim Jones began behaving like a four-year-old in public forums. My personal favorite was when he had the police department fake a criminal investigation on himself and then had the Daily News fake report on his innocence when Selinda pointed out he was a liar. She has not only committed herself to executing her elected position with the highest ethical standards, she also shined lots of light in many dark corners. Watching the good old boys flop around (and I include Brewer in that) has been highly entertaining for me, although I am certain for Selinda, not so much. I have to say when the Peninsula daily news spent a couple of weeks complicit in the Jones, Mc Entire and Peach "let's make her look crazy" campaign, I was horrified. I would like to extend my congratulations in how well Selinda handled the "wind her up, watch her go and then call her crazy" game the boys end up resorting to when backed into a corner of facts and the law. It is not often I have been witness to the integrity you have consistently shown despite all odds here in Clallam County government. I wish people in town were accessing more than the Daily News for their local government information. It is my best dream that when the accounting of the budget is complete and you Selinda are finally able to resign that you stop by and moon as many of these jackasses as possible on your way out the door. Unfortunately, the reality of having Mark spend so much of our tax money prosecuting you as a sex offender probably preclude this dream of mine from ever happening. You, Selinda will leave your job a winner and you will always be a hero to me.

Cherie Kidd is, without a doubt, the most dim-witted, clueless, unethical, moronic and yet egotistical creature to currently hold office in the depressed and depressing town of Port Angeles. Cherie is Miss Havisham, and Port Angeles is her crumbling mansion. Due to her utter incompetence, she actually harms Port Angeles - a town she claims to "love" - with every single thing she does. This show, which will present her screeching, rambling self to the entire world, is but the latest example of this syndrome. (Syndrome being one of many words that Cherie doesn't understand.) Viewers of this video will doubtlessly find Cherie good for a laugh or two, but please remember: This mush-mouthed loony tune is actually one of the people in charge of the town, which is just one reason it is often called "Poor Angeles."
