Some shots of my winter in the south of Spain, El Palmar can be good but it is a fast-closing beach break and some swells are just too much to handle.

Grips on the axle, that's very interesting. Looks like its set up with a 0deg pivot, so there's no lean to steer at all happening and the deck/platform stays level during turns? Is there resistance at all, or is just relying on caster to return to center?
sorry it took so long. The return to centre is done by gas springs on both sides stabilising the steering

Hey ik ben voor het eerst gaan surfen in Marokko(agadir) een tijd terug. Heb 7dagen cursus gevolgd van ervaren surfers. Ik zou graag eens aan onze kust hier ook surfen maar kan dat? Ook qua board en wetsuit huren? + aangezien ik de getijden niet weet en of er al dan niet (soms) rotsen voorkomen in ondieper water hier,etc? Wat zijn men opties? Cheers , surfliefhzbber :D

Wow, I can't believe I found this. I studied this in my early teens by Sifu Al Cheng from Vancouver, Canada. I had memerized every step, but recently forgot half of it until I watched this video. And I think that is my old Sifu. Can anyone confirm if this is in fact Al Cheng? I also trained in kung fu style kick boxing under Al but unfortunately I allowed myself to get busy with life and stopped training. These preying mantis techniques are very traditional, but affective if used properly.

Hey, could someone help me please? I am planing to move to Belgium but as a surfer I am really worried about not finding spots to surf... Could someone tell me some beaches where I could have little fun?! Don't need to be something spectacular haha
ha i have not seen many spectacular days surfwise here in belgium... there are some spots but most are same same... its all beach break and mushy waves normally , close to Oostende is the Best.

Al Cheng taught me this one personally. I had memorized every step, but recently I tried doing it and could only remember about half way thru. Man this brings back memories. I was training with Al Cheng sonce his days just off Main Street and then when he moved his studio to Knight Street

I talk about what I see in this video. I've seen lots of practitioners doing this kind of forms over and over, and believe me it does not give a lot of fighting practice. You learn to fight fighting. No wonder why Kickboxing and Ju-jutsu are by far the most common disciplines used in mixed martial arts and not wushu or other forms of traditional martial arts.
It is indeed boxing. Chinese boxing that is. And furthermore, this style of boxing or better yet, wushu kung fu is a martial arts that has been around much longer than plain boxing. If you were to go to china in a real old skool wushu temple you wouldn't be singing so loud about it being a "beautiful dance"..
