@@ADMIRALSCORNER Mike there are or is another steam tour due to pass sometime at the end of this month or the next. Usually best to be on worle station by 9am, it usually passed after 9:15.. when I know the dates I will try & let u know.

Hi Mike. How are you & Val doing? Weston Pier had previously cancelled them last November due to poor weather Conditions & high winds, so although it’s still pouring with rain. There wasn’t any wind last Saturday night. They had arranged to re-do them. I did get rather wet 😂! Good turn out of spectators despite the rain! My friend decided to watch from his car, whilst I stood by the sea wall & filmed them. There was also a party on the Grand Pier. After we went 4 a meal with our friends at the Brewers Fair opposite. Then Darren & I headed over to look at some of Westons Annual Glow in the park. At the end of this video.

from Val - Hi Liz Great video of fireworks. I met my sister in Weston on 13 Feb. I drove up and Mary caught bus from Bristol where she has lived all her life. We stayed in Premier Inn just outside Weston at Lympsham one night. Intended to see Light Show in Jill Dando garden in Grove Park, but rather wet and after a meal in Hobbs Boat next door to Premier we both felt too tired, but sorry to miss the Light Show. @@ADMIRALSCORNER Val- Sorry you didn’t see the light show….. yes it all timed in well with the fireworks. Once we,d had our meal we decided to drive & park by Grove Park. Wandered over. It was pouring with rain. Darren & I got very soaked 😂. I will keep my eyes open for more cool stuff happening in town. & tell you when it’s on.

I’m still really in- certain as to what it was I saw. But as soon as I caught a glimpse of a slight red light flashing I did wonder regarding it being a plane. As also in that direction I’m pretty sure it’s on the Lulsgate airport flight path. It could of been a plane that had taken off., hence seeing this b4. But because of the speed of it I’m very uncertain as it could be anything else. It’s very interesting all the same.

East Harptree in Somerset

Yes it was a Brilliant show…… Really good turn outs all throughout the local villages on the parade. We watched from the Crown pub at East Harptree. Went & had a couple of pints. Today we are going to the local Duck race in Banwell:

My friend Tereasa lives in Yatton. Where I got the Xmas light video too. And St Mary’s church in Yatton. My dads cousins both lived in Yatton too.
