I had my 5" Slugbuster loaded on the rail at noon on Friday when the skies looked threatening just before the clouds opened up. I ran out to the pad on the right side, took it down and hurried into the Blue and White tent at the flight line. Just in time!

Finally replaced the digital video camera with a Mobius 2.7K and it worked well. This rocket really shot off the pad with an Aerotech I-245, 38mm reload.

This one performed flawlessly. Only have a J330 for the first flight. Next up LDRS41 perhaps with a K motor?

Yet another attempt to get the doggone main parachute out! With predictable results.... UGH!

Scratch built, 3X upscale of the Cherokee E. This one went up great with a 20 year old Cessaroni J330 but the recovery still needs work. I did (almost) everything correctly except to attach the main chute anywhere. The drogue chute and the soy beans were enough to prevent harm. One of these days I'm going to get this right. The first launch of the Cherokee 3XE. Scratch built 4" diameter. Everything worked up until the ejection charges. The altimeter did not function after launch and I will need to determine why not.
