Hi I have only just subscribed and have catching up to do 😀 Personally I prefer soft music in the background without any voices so I can concentrate on the visual aspects - was that a house that looked like a tree?? Do you have Hobbits in your area? AMAZING to see you take the Arabian down such an incredibly narrow and overgrown bridal pathway and so well behaved too - the horse was good also 🤣 I think I am going to enjoy watching your journey

This is exactly what my mare does! When I got her we had almost worked through it, the she had a big spook one day and I fell and she ran of back home, now we’re back to square one 😔

I can see he anticipates the treat when you click, which is fine as he knows a reward is coming, but do you think/find that some of the behaviour may now be because he knows when he stops then goes, he gets a treat? I know he was doing this (napping/spooking) before the treats and understand what you are doing, but are you worried that he may now learn behaviour that gets him a treat. I only ask/say as our new horse is doing this (napping/spooking). Not knowing her history (and i think she has mainly hacked out with others and is now hacking alone) I am trying to work her through it, this was one of the things i was going to try (rewarding forward movement with treats) but i'm worried it may then teach her that stopping/rearing/backing up etc is ok as when she then steps forwards she gets a treat. Rather than just encouragement and reward in the form of praise, loose rein etc? Any feedback would be great as I'm really trying to weigh up whats best moving forward and shes very food oreintated lol

Do you know how to deal with nappy horses in the arena? My pony naps to the gate a lot and I don’t know how to stop it

Great video as always. When you said some horses do not like cows. Have any of your horses stomped their front feet on the ground to make aloud noise at the cows? Its like they do it to make the cows run away. Never seen them do that at any other time. Been trying to capture it on camera but they never seem to do it when camera is rolling. So annoying. haha

I don't get why the grassroots is never shown on the TV or the badminton subscription. It was nice to see Tina and Banksy from Life on the left rein as she's only posted her dressage test.
