How about bioreactors to grow animal tissues for protein?
How much space do you have? You will have to grow several dedicated acres of plants to feed 4 adults over the course of a year.
Informative indeed. 🙏🙏🙏
Can't wait to see it happen! Go Oz!!!
In space no one can hear a backpacker being murdered
AS•TRO•PON•ICS |\, IPA pronunciation [ˈæstɹoʊpˈɒnɪks] adjective BIOLOGY specialized Space agriculture : specialty life support systems for the production of plant and animal products in microgravity, lunar, or Martian environments. Lynn and Betty were working in the astroponics bay right after landing on Mars.
Would have been very interesting. Unfortunately, music (music? more precisely, noise hiding your words). I would have been glad to listen until the end if only I could have understood what you were saying. A great pity considering how interesting your subject is. Why, why, why why? why add noise over someone talking, I will never understand. Goodbye.

When Steven Spielberg made E.T. it was a plant. That's why it could bring other plants back to life. Bet you didn't know that.
Plants have become complicated
I think that you will find that the reason that plants can’t grow in moon dust is because it has no microbial life in it to make it habitable for plants. Much of what the video raved about was understood over thirty years ago at least, so why they still going over old stuff. The lack of understanding about plants and so-called waste was disappointing at least, when a plant grows fruit the fleshy part is to feed the seed, when a plant drops its leaves and branches that also is food for the plant or future plants depending upon its lifecycle, there is no waste. I hope that you seriously don’t pay these people.

Individual plants, not functioning ecosystems.
Sounds like hydroponics
