Provence is a fresh aromatic with depth, I also get a lot of violet in there, on skin a scent of pickles as well! My favourites are Chuco and Grande Île!

I'm really late to the party, but this was an awesome video, thank you and I wish you'd do more of these. 😊 As for the niche perumes, they'd have to become more affordable, for us ..common people to access and educate ourselves, which obviously will never happen. So it's a vicious cycle. I have to admit that I personally enjoy these through their clones, or local copies (we have tons of good "inspired-by" perfumeries in Greece), simply because I cannot afford or justify buying any of them. I'm also into pure oils lately, so I layer them and give my own twist to them and I totally enjoy it!! (Ok, most of the time anyway) 😅 Have a wonderful time and I hope for more content by you in the future!!

The main reason we go anosmic is the brain will communicate there is no danger present and it will shut off the smell. This happens most frequently with iso e super for some reason. We were born with sense as a tool for survival, smoke = fire , Rotting corpse = danger , rain, etc.. the human body is fascinating. Albeit, your talking points are still valid

I’ve only smelled Ylang In Gold, the bottle attracted me, but SUPER uninspired by the fragrance, it’s fine, just so many more inexpensive alternatives to that dna

I've long enjoyed fragrances, but only recently became obsessed with them after searching for information on a now discontinued Aramis fragrance I'd had for some time. I have to say, I find the entire industry and its history absolutely fascinating.

I’m absolutely in love with this fragrance. It just really works with my chemistry, but I can completely understand how this might put others off, because I think this is definitely one of those scents that will smell slightly different on everyone based on which notes radiate, and depending on your skin type and multiple other factors someone else might get a completely different experience than what I get. Its really difficult to describe, but on me, it smells sort of how other really good perfumes smell once they mix with sweat, in a good way, not a body odor way, if that makes sense.

I watched your video with Sebastian on balsams and resins. Do you buy propolis from a certain supplier? I want something similar to Peru balsam like you mentioned before on the similarity.

No, perfume doesn't have genitalia, but it smells like things, and the whole goddamn point of perfumery is that people have associations with those smells. It's no more right or wrong to say 'this smells masculine" than it is to say "this smells like summer".

I have a triangle tattoo on my upper arm- and no others. It's a symbol I created as a painter, three balls- one in each corner, except that the triangle is supposed to have rounded corners, like a pool rack. So I am a triangle! Also I must be because my tattooist made my triangle too pointy!

But Fragrantica says companies discontinue things because they're stupid and they hate their customers! Thank you for injecting a little plain truth into the "frag-com" whirlwind of nonsense.

What do you think of the IFRA regulation? I have some and diluted it to .5% and can’t even smell it much. But I love it 😞
