I’m assuming this is a non contact league, however this would be a clean hit if you were playing contact. There was No contact made to the head.

I once nailed a guy similar to this. He was a bigger guy and was trying to bump me all game long, I don't know why he was feeling so frisky as it was just a no-contact men's league. Anyway, he had the puck and was coming into our zone and came across the front of our net, preparing to take his shot, and I came at him from the other side, he had no idea I was coming from there, too focused on unloading his shot on net.
