Honour Amongst Soldiers: Arma Reforger
Просмотров 5821 день назад
After completely wiping out an entire squad and taking over their base, the unexpected happened-one lone American soldier found my radio and challenged me to a fist fight for control of the base. What started as total carnage turned into a battle of honor and hilarity as we agreed to settle the conflict with our bare hands. Watch as I dominate their team, negotiate with the enemy, and face off ...

All the us side ever does is load a backpack with 40mm and not do logi
Loading players in the back of an ambulance, or putting them in a field hospital helps them recover faster. You can use your in-game watch to synchronise attacks amongst other things. If you have FIA at a base your attacking but can’t see them, get in a jeep or vehicle (usually jeeps spawn on a base somewhere) and keep the engine off whilst you tap the beep button…they shout to eachother if they hear you, and so you can go find them. Instead of messing around with the compass and landmarks, open your map, open the context menu and select commands (if your leading A.I this will command them to go somewhere aswell so be careful), and select the move or defend command, once you do just quickly exit the map and look around for your marker and you can make your way towards it, I’ve timed myself in a jeep opening the map and doing this and then closing it as fast as i can, i got just over 2 seconds👀 i hope all of this helped, happy gaming people🙌🏻 and I’ll see you on the battlefield 🫵🏼🫡
Solid tips here mate 🙌🏻 the command ping especially!
@ yeaahh the command ping’s really useful 🙌🏻💯 just annoying when I’ve got a group of a.i somewhere and forget for a sec🤦🏻♂️😂
Plug a mouse in the back of your ps5 for swift inventory management. Left and right mouse buttons do different ! Soooo powerful.
I love running logistics, because there's so many new players with hog loadouts, it allows them to enjoy themselves and get back in the fight on the front lines
😅 when you put it like that!
I wish half the player base had your mindset everyone gets so angry at the new players it ruins the game for them it’s like some people forget that everyone was a new player.
Subscribed !!!!
Ceemon! Cheers mate 👊
Brilliant vid. Great meta. Started using the radio backpack jus before i came across this vid, brilliant. Trying to find ways/all the ways to use Ai effectivelyy. 👍🏼
Honestly loving the construction truck and AI combo at the moment, creates some interesting if not funny situations!
@ plug a mouse in the back of your ps5 !! Inventory jus got piss easy !!!
A better tip for start game or just taking bases as a supply team, if you empty all the supplies and only reload what’s not used after placing the tenet you get more xp. Dno why my guy told you not to put it all down, maybe so your quicker? But either way your gonna be eat there building so….plus check out the field manual people🙌🏻 im still learning from it and I’ve been playing for a good while now, the arma website has even more info than the field manual if you manually look up what you wanna find out💪🏼
Civvy sedans and vans CAN load supplies, the sedans hold 80, and you must go to the front of the car and find the interaction menu with your freelook button (you’ll see the interactive grey dot easier in freelook mode)
Mint vid mate
Cheers mate! Pretty sure we played together a few nights ago 😅🙌🏻
great vid!
What's up dog! 😅🙌🏻 cheers mate
Good vid brotha, a quick tip is that there are “hidden” no marker supply points where you can get a heli supplied up quick for a run
Thanks mate 🙌🏻 do you mean the hidden supply caches or something else?
@ yessir, there is one south of the military base near Simon’s wood
Nice one mate! Check out the first video about logistics there's a screenshot in there that shows all of the hidden supply caches on the map 🙌🏻
Pff... I've 1500 hours in ARMA 3 and 300 hours in Reforger. Listen to this: 1. It's way more efficient and not much longer to walk to first objective then to drive there and constantly spent supplies on jeeps. 2. On closest to FOB objective and insupply points nearby you can find free vehicles that you can use for supplies carry - supply in one way and taxi troops the other way. People should wait for taxi instead to wait for jeep they will abandon or lost 3 minutes later. 3. After building vehicle depot in the opening minutes of the game you can decomission its vehicles and get approx 280 points out of them, that allows you to build base. 4. Within first 5 minutes of game if noobs are not using supplies you can build large vehicle depot, small vehicle depot, radio station, fuel station and ammunition supply depot,. 5. Walking from FOB is OP - it doesn't use supplies, instead of waitinig for supplies to stackpile to buy jeep (that one will crash or get destroyed by enemies on the road via ambush and you start over) you will get much faster to the first objective on foot. 6. On Arland walking rom the North FOB to the airport is faster then driving. On Arland walking from the South FOB to the first objective is faster then drivng over roads. 7. It's better to have truck that goes between supplies and base and taxi soldiers to the supply point from which they can continue on foot then constantly buying jeeps. 8. Jeeps that can carry 200-300 supplies are good for supply runs as they are more nimble and easier to dodge any attacks when operating closer to front lines - they are spawning nearby supply points so you can have them for free. 9. Large vehicle depot has very nice shape to build bases around as it has Y or T shape intercection and a bit of fence that can complement your base structure for defences. One road can be used to connect with other roads or as entrance to the base. Other two can be used for in various ways. One of them is that you use one for small vehicle depot and you always place right behind it ammo depo. When one spawn a vehicle he has access to ammunition depot right behind it and can stack up his jeep with equipment necessary. Its good option to connect two large vehicle depots with the one of the T/Y shape roads. They can store a lot of supplies in late game and build nice layout and defences if place with proper care and planning. The biggest damage that happend to this game is recent weeks was silly YT advisors saying to gear up in ammo supplies and that this game is big in size so you need vehicle so grab one from the base. People should also A L W A Y S stack up into full squad sizes instead of making dozens (I hope dev's will enforce it somehow soon). Taking ammunition resupply pack cost 0 points from the ammunition supply structure. Instead of using 150-200 points on constant jeeps on each death its WAY MORE EFFICIENT to take long range radio for 200 points per squad and place it on nearest to objective supply point so it never runs out from the supplies and respawn from it. Vests are not bulletproof but protect from fragmentation and small calibers aka pistols etc, so dropping them and grabbing small backpack with ammo resupply box and one long range radio station and walking to supply points first to drop radio there is the way to go. With lage backpack you can stash inside it ammo resupply box and long range radio. You can drop long range radio at supply point and continue with backpack and ammo box inside. That way you and your squad will never run out from ammo, as the ammo costs 0 points per magazine from the ammo box, other special equipment like machine gun ammo or grenades etc can be restocked nearby supply points - its way more eficient to carry ammo box then extra ammo as its lighter. To save weight one can ditch the vest and helmet and replace it with cap. It's light infantry fight on long ranges in mainly wooded areas, vests and helmets makes more sence in towns and structures but dropping them saves you approx 7kg which you can trade for backpack with ammo box and one radio per squad. Also, if you don't plan to communicate its better to remove small radio to save weight and it won't get into enemy hands, only organized teams can benefit from radio which is currently near 0 - because people lack radio discipline and don't know how to operate it properly in militaristic manner, and shouting "I'm dead" or "they shoot at me" or "can you hear me" on platoon size radio on 16km square map has approximately ZERO value.
💯
Beautiful
Thanks for following up with the video!! Can’t say I’ve personally learned anything new but the idea of bringing a construction truck to a supply area and building heavily there to defend it is genius! (I wonder if this would stop Ai from spawning there..) I’ve recently been using construction trucks over the regular transports as the 50supply penalty is negligible with great added utility! I like to call them “supplies with benefits!” . Quick tip for people who like to drive the heavier vehicles including the BTR, if you struggle going up hill you can always reverse your way up much easier!
That's all good mate! I find the Russian trucks to be far superious in speed and horsepower than the American trucks in response to your BTR tip!
Let me know what you'd like to see next? 🙌
"100 hours of...." Thats a long video to upload.
What server is this on??
This is the UK/EU Commando server
I wish this video was in English😢
😅😅😅 captions on
Like Craig Ferguson used to say "sorry, I didn't get a word of that..."
Point 3 is great against AI even when attacking big bases solo at start of game.. shoot 1 or 2 then just run 200 metres around the perimeter in cover and start again, they wander around confused and are easy to pick off. By the time 3/4 of your team are still milling about at main spawn trying to get new weapons and wondering why there are no points, you can get three or four bases done
Very true! It's particularly effective against AI, they have a "search and destroy" mentality and will fire upon and walk towards the last known sighting / gunfight. Moving around them keep's them at a distance and as you mentioned you can pick them off!
Yeah ideally this is great but all your hardwork gets undermined by teammates hoarding expensive loadouts that will bleed a base dry in just a few respawns. They’re too selfish and will try to get you kicked for speaking out, public servers has always been a cesspool. Only 0.4% of players got the achievement for supply transporting… These issues are prevalent on US teams because they have the flashy cool looking gear and they all want to be spec ops with the camo helmet and suppressors. They also don’t treat Humvees the same as Soviets treat the BTR, this can be somewhat excused because US doesn’t have APC but they treat their equivalent of the BTR as just another car and so they’re wasteful with it and it’s expensive. They also don’t make good decisions with the Huey, I get that it’s fun to fly and has better handling but they spam these expensive choppers and they usually wreck or get shot down. Also Soviet kit is just better, the AK74 is full auto and performs better in CQC, you don’t really engage far enough away to really flex the better accuracy in the M16, and the RPG is objectively better in every way than the NLAW. So better players flock to the Soviets creating skill gap, US teams are always stereotyped as being really bad at the game.
I think all players have a responsibility to try and help new players learn and understand the game. It might fall on deaf ears sometimes but that shouldn't be for lack of trying!
Is it just me or are there some of Scottish people on the matches. Surreal listening to us communicate with Americans on supply runs and ambushes 😅
Definitely more Scottish players than I expected 😅 Hell let Loose was the same! Anything for a square go eh hahaha
Subscribed for that fuckin accent brother!
Let'sssss go 😅🏴
Pippin the hobbit teaching me how to play arma
What about second breakfast?
You can also teleport to the radio from anywhere. Go to map use the right click (radial menu) and go to request transportation, and then select the radio, then you have to select on the map where you currently are and then you will be teleported near the placed radio.
This is insane! Great tip mate 👏🏼
Cant lie, i mad mad fun just driving supplies around today 😂 server frame rate of 4-7 👌😂😂😂 it all ended coz some dude was salty and decommissioned my truck while i was loading supplies. Immediately spawned back in, watched as he loaded a freshly spawned truck with resources then stood in the middle of tue road and launched an AT rocket at his face as he left. Love this game 😂👌
"Master the Role that WINS battles" Would like to point out that logistics wins WARS. Just to further emphasize how important it is.
You're correct! I'm updating the title to reflect this 👊🏼
100 hours😂
It's not much but it's honest work 😅
It's all fun and games until you're the only logi truck and your 600 supplies are instantly gone with people asking for pick ups in the area. And when this repeats every time you make a supply run, and then you get vote kicked for telling people to spawn cars instead of playing dress up barbie and crying on radio for pick ups, I can't help but get upset. I still enjoy doing logistics after 70 hours. But it does get tiresome. Especially when people steal your truck after you dump supplies and are building.
Lets get the "Advanced Logistic Guide" video uploaded!
It's coming some point this week 🙌🏻
It's coming some point this week 🙌🏻
Great vid! 0:28 Technically correct terminology is “group” (“platoon” would imply the whole team). Honestly, BI should just call it a “squad” but maybe they don’t want to mention their nearest competitor?! 😂
What's good mate thanks for checking this one out as well! Arma Terminology.mp4 next? 😅
@@Aar0nGaming Actually, good idea. Yes, please!
it is 1 per platoon, RU gets 1 US gets 1
@@prodbyhadi1261 no, it’s one per “group”…in fact the ridiculous thing about it is that you can create your own group and have your own personal spawn radio
@prodbyhadi1261 you've conflated the MHQ with the Squad Radio. MHQ, the platoon will only get one. Radios, it's one per squad.
Thank-you for countering the growing culture of players spawning, loading up with unnecessary expensive kit, and driving away solo in a Jeep in search of a firefight. Logistics is everything. The more videos like this that are posted, the more hope we can have that more players will become team-oriented.
Amen! With such a sudden influx of new players from console, myself included it's no surprise that there are some teething problems with the steep learning curve. I'm here for the teamwork aspects of the game and although there might be some frustration now from the more experienced PC & Xbox players with new players burning through supplies like it's in 1944 hopefully it irons itself out with time 🙌🏻
My hope is that Bohemia Interactive makes some game design changes before a BF/COD culture sets in. First and foremost, armories should only be built by a rank of sergeant or higher.
Spacing in the convoy, your escort vehicle should be 10 seconds ahead of the HVT, and the trucks should have decent spacing to account for lag to minimise collisions. Lead vehicle should be driving slowly and lookjng for mines. Drive like a train, each vehicle matching where the other has been, drive where the vehicle ahead of you drove to avoid mines.
Very good insights mate 👏🏼
Good one! 😂
This is a great video, especially for a pretty small channel 😊. There was lots of work in this - excellent job mate! Dropped you a sub 😉 …in regards to running supplies I would also say be aware of the strategic situation. Understand the directions your team’s pushing to best support them and be aware of where the enemy is likely to be pushing. The only thing worse than being ambushed after 10 mins of driving, is arriving at a base only to find it being attacked by the enemy and you get killed leaving a fully stocked supply truck delivered right to the enemy! Also, really important to be good at navigating and getting to know the road network. Nothing worse than getting lost and having to constantly check the map. Know the backroads and have alternative routes if enemies are spotted or the situation changes
Thanks mate I appreciate that 🙌🏻 there was a fair amount of time spent planning it and getting the shots to fit the chat but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! The next video is being edited tomorrow and it's a collection of Arma Reforger tips, it's been cool playing with new and experienced players but really surprising how much functionality of the game is still unknown, so the video is focussed on that and there's hopefully something for all players to pick up! Great posts on the logi 👊🏼
I love love love playing support roles in military games. lol it's so cliche, the girl playing the healer, but seriously I play medic in the BF games and revives are more important than kills for me. I would love to try logistics
Driving supplies and building bases can be pretty fun (and pretty frustrating at times too). Unfortunately medic roles are pretty useless despite medical supplies, dedicated ambulances vehicles and field hospitals, etc. Hopefully they’ll improve the medic role gameplay
Maternal instincts are real 😅🙌🏻 with Arma Reforger being such a good military sandbox it opens the game up to being played in many different ways which is one thing I really enjoy about it!
With the Hit reg in arma reforger I always Spray half a mag into them 😂
I'm the exact same, if there is one downside to the game I would say that it's not as lethal as it could or should be. It made me appreciate the hit reg on games like Hell let Loose, they really nailed that and I hope Bohemia can carry these learnings of hit reg and lethality into Arma 4.
I main Logi, I’d love to see your take on some more advanced tactics!
Coming up mate 🙌🏻
Who to level up storage in a base ? Supplies are ticking every minute in every base (i ask because i see than supplies are growing everywhere) ?
You can increase the supply capacity by building structures. Structures like the heavy vehicle depot can hold a few thousand supplies and you can unload supplies at the heavy vehicle depot. As for where the supplies come from, each captured base needs a radio relay built. There are thin red lines shown on the map telling you which other bases that radio tower connects to on the map. The smaller bases will max out at +5 supplies every 5 seconds, +1 for every base it's connected too. Major bases (purple names) max out at +15. Other supplies can be found at supply depots (green circles on the map) and hidden supply caches not shown on the map.
I'm looking to get into something new man. Might grab this tomorrow 🏴
Can't recommend it enough mate! Only game that's sort of similar is Hell let Loose if you've played that? It's not without its issues but it is a testing game ahead of the release of Arma 4 so I would keep that in mind 👊🏼
Do it!
Good video, looking forward to the secondone on strategic decisions around re-supply. I've never done supply drops much in AR but this has got me interested.
Idk about logi. Thanks for this. I know how to die and respawn
This is facts 😅I wish I could tell you it gets easier!
Be mindful about your loadouts in this case. If you are going onto the frontline with a full kit only to die seconds later and respawn with another full kit, you are draining those camps supplies fast and making logi workers job less meaningful than it can be! ✌️
Thanks for the video, absolutely fell in love with this game !! Super excited on it growth and expansion PS5 😊
No problem mate, likewise! I really hope we get mods 😮
Why does Xbox get mods and do you think PlayStation will get mods@@Aar0nGaming
@@Ifindoubtknockthemout Arma Reforger gets mods on Xbox but not on PS5 because of the differences between the two platforms. Xbox is much more open to mods and lets developers integrate systems like Bohemia’s Workshop for easy downloads, while Sony has stricter rules about user-generated content. They prioritise security and stability, which makes it harder to allow the kind of freedom mods need. Plus, Xbox’s setup is closer to PC, so it’s easier to make mods work there. On PS5, it’d take a lot more effort to get around Sony’s restrictions, which is likely why it hasn’t happened yet! Arma has sold around 200,000 copies on PS5 and counting which hopefully lets Sony know how much interest there is in this game and they grant Bohemia the mods
@@Aar0nGaming so do you think I should hold out buying a Xbox I only really want to play this game I hate Xbox controllers aswell but I like ps5 I kite just get ps5 I think
great video. great great video. i usually find the quickest off road route to the supply depot and just run em solo, just have to be fast enough, the trucks are pretty cheap if you fuck it up. convoys are fun though. it is a very rewarding feeling after running lodgey for a while having people spawning on your base. i like to do figari and simons wood mainly
Yea if we're in a pinch i'll often do the same thing and like you try to avoid the main roads. Another good point for runs is Hormbean Valley, the supply depot is right at the top of the hill and there's a quiet backroad from Hormbean base which allows players to attack Entre Deux 🙌
I would like to see a more advanced video created.
Nice mate thanks for the comment! The second edition would look at early game tactics to get supplies where they're needed most and the order in which to build bases. As well as that I'd discuss how supplies can be used outwith base building. I'll get too it, stick around 👊🏼🎥
Good video for start, but i feel like "never do supply runs alone" is an overkill.
Yea that's a fair point mate! When duty calls the solo mission gotta be done 😅
expect nothing more from an xbox player
I see the driving physics are still as good as ever
good fuckin play, too bad my ping makes hit reg impossible to reach this level of smoothness
Game ?
@remanster49 The game is called Arma Reforger it's a milsim game which recently launched on PS5. If you like FPS games that require team work & communication with a somewhat slower pace then I would definitely recommend it!
