Thanks for the report! Yeah I've heard both the passenges (myself included) and crew love Finnair A350 on the short haul routes, all the extra space for both. In the summer season 2024 they used widebodies to LHR AMS and MUC. In the coming winter their A350 is used to LHR, also to the Gran Canaries for the first time, 1x daily service HEL- LPA (6h flight). It's a scheduled service, though mostly used by package holiday customers. Something extra for them, probably including me :)

When is was in SAS plus LHR-CPH i Got a full meal, all other trip report on yt did also get a full meal. And ypu can choose if u want a pizza or the meal and u went with the pizza

I've flown BA to Cape Town numerous times but Virgin is better.

I use the Cincinnati airport and I’m so happy that they made that flight again

It makes it even worse that they try to brand it as premium economy ”SAS plus” as if that would mean the shitty product should be overlooked. It’s clearly their version of the intra-european business class and it’s probably the worst, and the bar ain’t too high.

I flew with BA On a A321-231 recently to Malaga from Gatwick and although I was finding it hard to sleep, It was a pretty comfortable fun journey

Nice report, thanks for sharing. I have fond memories of flying with Czech airlines from late 90's to early 2007 on London - Prague - Kosice (Slovakia) route. It is world's 5th oldest airline, I hope they survive.

How did you manage to get allowed into the flight deck? Looks incredible!

Re: having to re-do security if heading to B gates lounges when your flight departs from A gates, you can use the transit walkway if you do not mind walking between the gates. That means if you end up flying from A gates but are at B gates, you can just walk backwards. You cannot however use the train as that will take you through to arrivals.

Nice video! I'd love to travel with Finnair through Helsinki at some point. I believe Helsinki is one of the few airports in Europe where the 100 ml liquids rules are not around, right?

Thanks for the TR! I have a soft spot for widebodies on SH routes, have enjoyed a couple on Finnair. Their new business class seat is something special.,found it a bit confusing at first but love it now :)
