Resident Evil 1 Save Room Theme Guitar Cover
I’ve wanted to cover this for a while but I couldn’t get the perfect tone until now, so I figured I’d upload this now.

The CORRECT DIMEBAG TUNING! (D 425hz!)
Can i get link to where you got that IR? thx
song name?
A New Level, off the Vulgar Display of Power record
I use to own this tape .... Everyone said THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A WHIPLASH ALBUM!!!! ..... Then I showed them .... Mic Drop!!!
Mine was a full album like Kill'em All but it had 4 less songs on it
I think it might need a bit more treble but it’s actually almost spot on
what guitar?
also, is it the solid state amp, or cab head?
201th sub
I don’t listen to pantera but I have heard little parts of walk and that is spot on.
This song is a banger live. Hell yeah it's one of the best riffs
On the next episode of: "SNEAKY GROOMER, The Lesbo Headtramp story"
My 2 cents: I think that actually A4:450hz is the refference being the "standard tuning", but down to 3 semitones like more a standard 440hz C# tuning rather than D (A4:440hz) at the end. 425hz would be closer to half step down standard 440hz tuning (415.300hz) and so on... 450hz: standard tuning, half step down: 425hz (Hollow for example), whole step down: 400.900hz, 1.5 steps down: 378.400hz (Floods) But, If I'm not mistaken Pantera's guitar tech some day said that the tuning is just a "normal" tuning up to 0.25. So the refference like this would be something like this, A4: 446.400hz (standard tuning), half step down: 421.345hz (Hollow for example and maybe Cemetery Gates (but some people says that's minus 0.25 from the standard tuning, so it would be between 430 and 434hz the A4 refference)), whole step down: 397.697hz, 1.5 step down: 375.376hz (Floods). PS: I think that the studio recorded songs aren't just using that plus 0.25 from the 440hz mentallity (this was staple just for shows), so we need to play a bit or with the tunings, or trying to seperate stems and retune those songs to the 440hz refference testing the refferences from 430hz to 450hz.
nah
Ey I'm your mask I'm your dreams,I'm your eyes
scoop the mids a bit more and bring out the highs!!!!
Sad but true pantera cover
Sadder and truer
So the nickelback cover basically ?
goosebumps man
i thought you were this other youtube who i watch who does the same thing, i asked em to make this video and they were going to. amazing tone anyway
tbh, its sounded kind soft, i mean like the distorted need to sound kinda more blocky to make it sound kinda like, the chainsaw, try to increase the 6k-10k hz on 12,-15 db, it makes it a little bit blocky
C# is a very underrated tuning.
I'm more of D flat fan. 😛
@@adamgh0so you just call it D flat instead of C#? Okay.
@@babymanter0936 C# standard or "drop D" from E flat tuning? I play a downtuned seven string live so I'm in B flat tuning all the time. This gives me access to basically everything without having to retune between songs.
@@adamgh0 your already better than me at guitar.
@@adamgh0crazy didn’t know that ….
Sounds great!
do you record your boss katana using the usb port?
I use an SM57 Mic going through an Audio Interface into Reaper DAW.
Is this the correct tuning for Fucking Hostile too?
That is E 425. Same Hz, just a different tuning.
guys help me i have a jackson js32 king v black but idk what amp i need to get this tone that you have so pls somebody help me
boss katana mkii, lambchopper678 presets
This is kickass bro 🔥🤘 lamb chopper is the goat.
Very good 😊
C# Standard, love it, keep it up 💪
Please post patch or settings. Always. Grows the community. Sounds incredible man. Awesome job
Thanks for the feedback, I’m probably gonna redo a couple of these videos anyways. But I’ll get the link, and maybe redo a video or two.
@@BBlair88733awesome man. Please do. If you do one on the katana, an ajfa clean and/or distorted would be great. Thanks buddy
how you record it?
Is this mk1 or 2?
Mk2
@@BBlair88733 Oh cool do you have the files for the tones?
What tuning?
D Standard in 425 Hz, I have a video up on my channel to tune to
Wow, I love the layering going on, really makes it come alive.
Okay seriously one of the best kill em all tones i heard for a while.
LMAO this happened to me but I was on round 2
This sounds amazing dude
I'm hearing stereo chorusing which I don't think Metalica ever used in the 80's for distorted riffs
Phil jumpscare
Gotta love Chuck’s guitar tone
Could you make a patch for this! In need this tone in my life🤣
I’ll make one in a Google drive soon!
@@BBlair88733 thanks so much, you rock dude. Best boss Katana tone maker for sure. Even better than lamb chopper
Ha! The dialogue of this show is worse than the Twilight movies. The only thing worse than the dialogue is the characterization of literally every single Jedi, how the dumbass writers think the force works, and having a Sith go against his literal only rule of engagement.
Did you know: you didn’t have the to watch the show? You could have gone the rest of ur life acting like it doesn’t exist. Yet here you are, bitching.
Hi bro, I have a Mustang lt25, how can I emulate that precious sound
Keep the bass even, scoop the mids a little, and treble should be somewhat boosted. Try and find a decent Marshall amp simulator and keep the gain low but find a good tube screamer or a booster, then find a chorus pedal with the tone, you’ll have to do a little bit of tweaking but that’s pretty much how my tone is.
@@BBlair88733 thanks bro, I'll try it and I'll tell you how it went
too much woofy low end
Are you using some amp sim? If so which one?
Just a Boss Katana Mk2, with just the panel settings.
@@BBlair88733 oh yeah bro, I imagined some plugin, sick tone
Bro, what did you use to record that tone?
For this video, I just used my iPhone mic up to the amp
@@BBlair88733 Alr, ty = )
Sad But True is a classic Metallica hit. And a lot of the quote-on-quote “true” Metallica fans will hate me for saying this, but Load is actually a good album in my eyes as it was the 1st Metallica album I ever heard. But, if it’s of any consolation to those certain breed of Metallica fans, the early days of Metallica also have their moments as well. I like Cliff Burton as a bassist. The instrumental song “Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)” shows us the legend he was.
Load was great. A few weaker tracks and they should definitely have just made Load and Reload one epic record but everything post Load was a fast decline with St Anger and Lulu being the final nails in the coffin for me. Would have preferred them to just stick to the country blues metal Load style instead of trying too hard to “innovate” or recreate their classics like everything since.
no one is gonna complain for ur opinion pal if that’s what u wanted
@@Emcfree2084 Lulu was Lou Reed's album, not Metallica. St. Anger is only disliked because many apparently can't get used to the steel snare. There's a rerecorded version on RUclips with regular drums, it has overwhelmingly positive comments.
@@DrMetalliusLulu was a collaboration between the two, so it’s a Metallica album. St Anger is terrible, what you think the consensus was is irrelevant because I have ears and also other people I actually know and whose opinions I trust.
@@Emcfree2084completely disregarding Death Magnetic, Beyond Magnetic, Hardwired... To Self Destruct, or 72 Seasons... But ok.
Simply awesome..
fire zombies have a chance to explode lol how long have you been playing
Can you please share all the patches used
sick, the clean and the lead tone is on point
