As a Mexican, you didn’t offend us lol, also you ate them the correct way :D The first tamale you ate was a red tamale (tamale rojo) It is traditionally made out of pork. The pork is then covered in a sauce that contains guajillo peppers, ancho chiles, and a couple of other spices. This may be why it initially came off a bit spicy to you. As for your second tamale with cheese, I think the cheese was a cheese called queso fresco. I think the chicken in the tamale was covered in salsa verde (green salsa/sauce), which typically contains either jalapeños or serrano chiles. This was such a fun video to watch! Keep up the good work!

Hey buddy, since you’re learning Spanish I figured I’d correct you, yes those are tamales but they’re not made of tortillas, it’s made out of Masa which is corn dough :). Im glad you liked the tamales 👍

i think the jalapeno one might be cheese. Usually when we put jalapenos it's the cheese one maybe it depends on who you get it from though. i recommend you try pupusas it's a Salvadorian dish
