VJr is fine, it's good for new players and it's quirks can be taken advantage of by more advanced players. CJr, however, can go to hell with it's torpedo spam from across the map. %*&@ the Aerospray. RG, I mean. The RG kit. That one deserves to be banished forever - stop making Special Spam kits. The MG kit is FANTASTIC for it. It's a paint-focused weapon that's supportive, but it's kit forces you to FIGHT and get good with Slider+Fizzy combos. It's a good gun that teaches good sub/special combo habits and mobility, when to use your special, when to go in with Fizzy's trail and when to poke, etc etc. THEN THEY DECIDED TO THROW IN BULLS@&!. 'Nahhhh, just spam Booyah Bomb, who NEEEEEEDS good mentality? JUST RUN AROUND AND PAINT THEN PANIC BOOYAH! Who CAAAAAARES about actually TRYING, just feed constantly and panic the special! You'll get armooor, don't woooorrry! Nobody can break it before you charge it, too, so just throw it at your feet and escape - 99% of the time, you'll be A-OKAY!!!!"... I loathe that kit. So sick of seeing it. Aerospray could be a good weapon if they just leaned into kits like, I dunno - Sensor/Inkjet. Something more defensive to counteract the MG's offensive nature. But nope, we keep getting special spam, Turf War abuse kits and it's just... please. Fix it, or get rid of it. Nova's... really poorly designed in the sense of 'it's so weak it literally can't do anything but be a minor nuisance'. I call VNova the Sans Gun because of the lasers + weak chip damage. It can still be fun to run around and be a nuisance with it, much like Sploosh, but it's... REALLY bad. I think it should probably get reverse shot RNG - where the spread closes in the longer you hold the trigger. Big Swig just needs a thicker vertical. It doesn't need to oneshot when rolling or flicking horizontally. That's not it's role. If you hit a chunky horizontal and roll into someone, it will kill. The issue is it's vertical OHKO is WAY TOO HARD TO LAND. That, and both kits are atrociously bad/mid. (Please stop giving rollers Splash Wall, I am BEGGING you, Nintendo.) Undercover is perfectly fine, if not needing a buff because it gets overwhelmed so easily - especially against anything that flicks over the shield (rollers, brushes, sloshers), anything with high object damage from a distance (splatanas, wellstring, etc) or anything with bombs (one R button and poof, shield gone - undercover helpless). They absolutely should buff it's damage - both the canopy contact and the actual pellets. Either that, or buff it so bombs don't instantly delete it's shield. The vanilla kit is great for survivability and I think something else that combos like dart+undercover would've worked nicely together. Only issue is the 2nd kit has that stupid ableist special, Screen. Ugh. Recycled wants to be S2 brella, but it lacks the shield that made S2 brella actually WORK. It's just a shooter with a shield that SOMETIMES blocks a SINGLE shot. It's bad. Either buff the shield, or change the shield to, again, deflect bombs - because it has the same issues that Undercover has with bombs but WORSE. Doesn't help that one of the two kits is the funny 'haha, press R stick and WIN FIGHT' button... (I hate Triple Splashdown so much) Clash Blaster is a crutch. That's it. It's just a crutch. Nobody really goes for the directs with this thing - you just pelt people with the AOE spray and pray and that's it. Just genuinely un-fun to deal with and not rewarding to use at all. It was ran in S2 because it's kits had both Stingray and Missiles (making it the Tower Control Crutch weapon). Painbrush is either really annoying and tedious to deal with, or you outrange it. If you outrange it, you will never have to deal with it. It'll be too slow to move, and unable to kill you. If you DON'T outrange it, your matchup pretty much becomes you hitting a brick wall over and over where you'll either both fall, the painbrush will win, or you'll just BARELY survive if you're lucky. The second kit shutting down literally all sharking weapons from playing the video game is a complete disgrace. Goo Tuber is fine. It's a weird weapon, but I think it's alright. If they make it faster, it's kind of just a diet charger. If they give it the squiffer buff, it's a diet squiffer. I just think the weapon's not for you. Lastly, I think you should have thrown in the Decavinator. I get people like Splatanas, but like... it's a feeding weapon. The lunge is stupidly long distance, the hitbox is ridiculously wide for a one shot, and it pretty much deletes anything that can't outrange it. Not to mention it can get away with some of the stupidest tech in the game, counteracts Ink Vac entirely, and still has a stupidly chunky + wide hitbox for it's normal horizontal swings. Plus, it paints REALLY well, and both kits have specials that make it a complete nuisance to deal with (like how do you approach a Decav inside of a bubbler, or how ridiculous is it that this thing can still dash+hit you with the charge slash on the recall from inkjet). It's not BUSTED, sure, but badly designed? I'd say absolutely.

As a Splattershot Jr myself, I agree and disagree with your Jr take. Yes, spamming bombs is something I DO use, and yes, I see that it has diminished Jr's reputation as a weapon. However, the weapon isn't that bad at killing. It's a 4 shot with some decently reliable shot RNG. The game never really tells you to spam bombs though, I thought you saying that was very... wrong. That's what the community practically told us to do. Even with the bomb spamming thing, it works because Jr has the largest ink tank in every game. When I have double bomb I'll usually not have it all the time. I run comeback so I'll only get it when I respawn, not any 2 seconds my ink is at full. Setting subs to the side, bubbler right now is very good, and is my favorite special. Jr is 180 which makes it easy to get, and is a giant shield for you and your team which is cool to me. Jr is classified as a utility weapon, because its subs and specials are not for killing, they are to assist.

3 Options: 1. Run away from Vac and give it no charge. 2. Flank on the truck or smth. 3. Reefslider into it, giving it a lot of charge so it can shoot at you in your end lag.

tbh i think the brush is the best weapon to use generally, especially if your starting out because it requires less aim to hit people and you get a little speed boost too. the only downside is that it takes more hits to kill the enemy. im using the brush rn!
