I'm sure you will see things in this video, you never have seen before! I followed a couple of Red-necked Grebes (Gråstrubede Lappedykkere) this spring. Through April and May the couple were mating, catching the rare and huge Northern crested newt (Stor Vandsalamander) on several occasions and finally in late May the hungry zebra-striped chicks arrived. What a big job to feed them for both pare...

I found this Bittern (Rørdrum) perched in a huge Beech tree 🌳 in the middle of Copenhagen today. Never ever see this magnificent bird so far from its habitat, which is reeds beds. An normaly live very hidden from the human eye.

It´s a thrill to watch this huge woodpecker working on the old tree trunks. You realize how much work it takes to dig out the larvae under the bark...
