UPDATE! 2nd Review: Cen-Tec Systems 95798 Dust Collection Separator
Просмотров 3 тыс.Год назад
Cen Tec Systems commented on my last video and recommended that the baffle be removed for larger debris. We tested its operation without the baffle and they were correct. However, the finer dust went through to the vacuum and plugged the filter just as fast... This is a situation where I don't think I should have to choose between vacuum operations. In a woodshop, this will function just fine. ...

So the purple and orange wires for the torch did you just cut those wires and leave the wires that go to the torch loose inside the machine and take the orange and purple wires that basically go to the circuit board and then just extend them to outside of the machine to the butt Spade connectors so basically the orange and purple wire that go to the torch or just hanging inside the machine and the orange and purple that came off of the board are basically going out of the machine now didn't really show that in the video I was looking for it
Yes. Mine 2" above
Use two of them. One without the baffle to get the big chunks and the second one with the baffle to get more fine dust.
I'd make the cross bar on the bucket lift removable, Or a lift hold bar and raise the lift all the way up and drop the bar in so you could open the hood all the way.
To keep the fine dust out of your filter you need a bag in your vac.
How did you get your hypertherm to work with the cnc
There is an assembly video of the system on my channel. I show how to wire into the hypertherm to make it work
can you take a close up picture of the writing on the side on the fuel injection pump
I will next time I get out to the lot.
@@shop29 thanks when you get a chance
i just bought one of these engines used to pump water.im looking for the gear that runs the external hydraulic pump if someone knows where i can get one please.
Those brass fine thread are for compression fittings young man 😊,the chrome hole is your glow plug indicator when it turns orange your glow plugs are hot 😊
Yes every old tractor I see I wish I had money time and a place to put them 😂😂

So if you by a bag for the shop vac you will be all good

Dude for large crap like that with fine dust mixed in, I suggest just getting one of those barrel lids that send the incoming debris stream around the circumference of the lid for a short distance with a separate exit port in the middle. All that large junk will then fall to the bottom of the barrel and so will a lot of the fines. It won't clog and you should get longer service between shop vac filter cleaning/replacement.
its not for large debris. its for dust and small chips
its a dust separator not a debris separator. Its for dust and small chips. you should have researched before posting this video.
You seem to not understand the purpose of a cyclone separator. It's doing its job just fine. It's never going to make it easier on your filter as it's not designed to stop fine dust. Separators do just that, they separate the HEAVIER materials and deposit them into the bulk container.
Its a DUST collector, not a debris collector. Sorry buddy, no one is being saved here.
My guess is that’s why they call it a dust collector?
I would try to grind off a little from the bottom part of the baffle to increase a clearance between a wall and baffle. And like others said - use a dust bag, they are much cheaper than filters.
LMAO i love how grown ass men like is are still silly in today's world . God Bless
Just add G0 y10. at the end of you g-code.
With the key turned on and the engine not running the ALT light inside the RPM guage should be burning brightly. When you start the engine the ALT light goes out. Likewise when shutting down the engine the ALT light should come on when the engine stops turning over. If the wiring is still in factory configuration it will not charge the battery with the key turned off. Check the ALT light bulb inside the RPM guage and see if it's maybe burned out. My 76 Kubota L185 is still all original, if you have any wiring questions, or other questions, I may can look at mine and get the answer for you.
Thank you, the lights for the alt and oil pressure both still work in the dash but they only light up if the engine is running to slowly to make pressure/ amps . I'm not sure why they don't light up when the key is on and the engine is off. It's been a great little tractor this past year, thank you for the offer .
No separator will help with filter dust. Small dust to the filter and larger chunks to a bin so you don't fill the vac as often. Seems like its working fine once you pulled that stupid piece out.
Cool tip, thanks
Ummm . . . .I had this same unit and used it exclusively in a WOOD shop with a large Ridgid shop vac. I returned it after ~2-3 months because I ran into the SAME issue, most commonly when doing planer runs . . . clogging from the shavings. I read the box and instructions . . . . .didn't help. When I did the demo and remodel of our guest bedroom, same issue. I guess the unit isn't designed for a simple DIY home project?!?! I switched to a new Dust Deputy and have not had a clog since. On the plus side, both units keep my shop vac filter clean. They just need to tweek the design a little. I like that it has a smaller profile then most others on the market.
This is impressive, thanks for sharing as a recommended solution
Thanks for saving this rig and I’m glad at least he went for parts and not to the crusher . This was a great video, and I appreciate your time in making it. American Iron all the way!
Nice work! Keep it up!
How are you going to recommend for viewers to not buy it when you’re not using it correctly. User error bro. smh.
Had the same problem couple times in my wood shop when using my planer. Guess a small wood shop use is "user error" too . . . . . . . .from their website: "the Quick Click separator has proven effective in both domestic and commercial use."
Maybe read the instructions and understand the use/purpose of the system 🙄
Had the same problem couple times in my wood shop when using my planer. Guess I don't understand "the use/purpose" of it either . . . ."the Quick Click separator has proven effective in both domestic and commercial use."
We are ordering a crossfire pro table and own a Hypertherm 45xp at work. Langmuir Systems sells a CPC cable so that no modifications need to be made to your plasma cutter. Am I being misled? Thanks for your help.
If you have the cpc connection on the back of you machine you should order the cable .
This is the best unit of its type on the market. Of course when you remove the baffle you get more fine dust in the vac. This unit is made for carpenters and woodworkers, not retarded demolition clean up men.
Oh, and I did buy a centec cyclone a few months ago and the top and bottom didn’t seal together properly even with the gasket in. I sent mine back but think they could do with twice as many fixing points around the joining rim. Good observation about the gap between the baffle and wall in relation to hose size btw👍.
I’ve got a setup where I’ve got a hoover bag over the vacuum filter which acts like a pre filter for fine dust. Might be a consideration? The bags are cheaper than the filters for certain! I get what your saying although I wouldn’t expect the fine dust to go into the barrel . Try a hoover bag over your filter!….if it’ll fit. When I get sorted I’ll maybe post a quick video to show my setup.
What’s up, so I’ve been using the a pro along with the razor weld 45, I’ve been using it for a few months, it was working fine yesterday, I could tell the air wasn’t as strong though coming out the torch however, I haven’t replaced my nozzle and electrode at all which I ordered some parts that will come in tomorrow. That all being said I ordered them because I tried using it today and it didn’t even work, it was like a dry run, no air coming through , idk if that means the air is bad or as in like moisture in the plasma cutter?, would that be a thing, for the last few months I’ve had a little moisture just around where the hose connects to the cutter, I have a filter and I do release the moisture out of it every time I get done using the table for the day. Do yall think it in general is not even streaming air because the consumables are bad or there’s an even worse problem that has to do with the cutter. What I’m hoping you’ll say is that the internal computer won’t stream air without the electrode and nozzle firing off from the initial electricity that turns on the switch for the air to start coming through but idk if that’s how it works.
I’d figure I’d ask you cause you’re the only person that has helped me with troubleshooting questions 😅
Would have been better off by using a bag in the vac instead of a filter.
Great video!
Looks like you blew all the water out of your table already, what is the problem 😊
It leaks at the seam of the two pans, I just dump enough water in there to keep the pan from warping when I need to use it. Then drain it off. Really only gets used once or twice a month. One day I will weld the pans together.
Just 2 cents of from my experiences: I've used the Oneida version of this connected to a 20 gallon drum and a shop vacuum for saw dust and metal grinding dust. I've filled up the 20 gallon drum at least 20 times, and so far my vacuum is empty, and my filter is spotless. HOWEVER, I have a filter bag inside the vacuum to catch any leftover fine dust. The bag still seems empty though. The bag and filter for the shop vac is green, which is Ridgid's "HEPA" version. I've saved so much money and time by not having to clean filters, or buy new shop vac bags. I've used the Home Depot orange version, the Dustopper, and it doesn't do a good job at all.
was about to say the same thing well said
That's why they are called separators. the fine dust is filtered by the vacuum and the large will be left in the drum. no separator will keep the filter clean. If you invent something that will collect everything you will be making a fortune as everyone will want one.
I think your using this for the wrong rubbish. if you wanted too suck up more larger rubbish you need more of an industrial vacuum rather than a dust/particle separator.
Pin size on tool bar
I have the very same gokart I'm about to put a 420 big block on her
You got the g code bro All you got to do is after the cut is finished, then to move out of the way.... Google it....btw... Not really a hot tip more of a feature request. And if you put more water in your table your cuts would be much better your parts will be cooler and you'd have less smoke in your shop.

You should have a valve under the seat that controls the flow rate of the drop of your 3 point. You can also close it completely to lock the arms up.
Hey I just wanted to ask also, what do u lubricant ur machine with and just general maintenance?
Hey, FYI I never received an email from you. I will be honest, my machine gets abused. It spends its life in a trailer made from an old uhaul truck with a leaky roof. I lubricate everything with WD40 and use that to wipe everything down before I use it. Make sure the lead screws are clean and the wheel tracks stay as clean as possible so you don't get any drag on one side vs the other. That will cause it to lock up. Be sure to keep up on the rust from the parts being in the water tray. Make sure there is water or something like it in the tray. Keep your wires neat and tidy, definitely caught power cords etc.. with my foot and yanked them out of the machine or caused the table to jerk off path.
@@shop29 I think I messaged the wrong email or something 😓, but I solved my mount problem. Thankyou tho, I wasn’t if I could just use wd40 for everything or I had to use gear oil on the lead screws, also did u stay at about 80 psi for the air compressor?
I'm glad you got your mount figured out. My hypertherm 45xp requires 90psi at 6cfm. It is self regulating for the pressure and I believe you can hook up 90-130lbs right to it. I do know that the machine will automatically stop cutting if the pressure gets down to 75ish and that is not good for the torch or consumables so if the compressor can't keep up it will cut out . I have a video in the works to explain more of this stuff after a year of use .
@@shop29 I look forward to it. 👌
I bought the clear version One Click for my wood shop and I must say it works great it's like magic. I hardly ever clean the filter now. Very little fine dust get into my shop vac now. I should have bought one a lot sooner! Love it!
