what would be the reason to put two props for one motor? I heard 3 blades prop per motor is the best. Sacrificing the efficiency for more lift?

Hello, yes the cage was designed for this drone. Servo is able to move 180° vertical angle and is controlled by a switch 3 positions on the DJI RC2

It is impressive that you are flying this using betaflight and I gather headtracking.....I had suspected you might be using ardupilot with optical flow/lidar to assist with stability and collision avoidance. I am curious since I am building/assembling my own fpv drones so I like to see what can be achieved with "off the shelf" hardware.
