@@faizanzubair8977 assassin has many fun builds that can work well. The quickest and most effective IMO is an enjos, SK and toxic vanish assassin. Smoke bomb is best for speed but caltrops damage is so nice .

@@Atombomb-xo4vy that's really interesting. Is that with the blowpipe or with the bomb pack? One of my favourite builds recently has been a resolve gain + max ultimate damage build with weightless spirit + liquid courage. But I'm planning on using my assassin for hell mode with a couple of friends (because the assassin's teleporting to deal with disciples is really handy). So far this looks like a decent build because the stone striker is my favourite katana for my Ronin, but using the blow pipe to quickly stagger and take out a purple spear Oni is just so damn quick and cool with the build that you've shown in this video. I'll try out the build that you mentioned and compare which works best for me.

@@faizanzubair8977 yes it is with the blowgun but you are absolutely right that pairing the blowgun with the strone striker is such a quick and efficient way to wipe out oni lord enemies. Weaken, poison til stagger than delete with HS attack. I’ll share another great stone striker build, probably one of the bed IMO. Toxic vanish is also so good with stone striker. Staggered damage stat is nice too and fun to experiment with.

@@Atombomb-xo4vy @Atombomb-xo4vy I really appreciate you going through the trouble bro. I'm just watching it now and saw how you handled the Oni archer by quickly dealing with him first and then wiping out the crowd. That is a much better and systematic way of clearing the spawn. I tried out the build from earlier and it worked really well when I was competing with a samurai. I'll give this a go too and compare. And yeah you're totally right about the staggered damage perk. Compared to my Ronin, the damage with the assassin's heavenly strike is insane!

@@washtubz thanks man! Haha melee hunter is a pretty rare sight to see but it can be fun for sure. This was a decent challenge as well. The most fun I’ve had with spirit archer too. Give it a try sometime!

Oh believe me I know, I've been running a bow and blade based melee hunter as my main for the past year. With B&B she has the best heavenly strike in the game. I usually run masamune + heavenly rebuke but stone striker yields hilarious results when maxed out. IIRC she can do up to +216% if you want which is like a 32 damage stone strike. Not quite enough to one shot an elder oni lord but still extremely entertaining. I was actually talking to someone about their "Broken bow" build recently, might have been the same person you mentioned in your description. I'll have to give it a try sometimes, if anything just to play with spirit archer + spirit kunai. Demon seeds is also a great way to make use of her status effect damage.

@@washtubz ah wow that’s actually a very clever idea. Never considered to try that and sounds like it could work. I’m Guessing it’s a little hard to pull off consistency though. May need to check out that bow and blade tech again sometime. I’ve completely overlooked it. For sure the demon seeds are amazing for status effects. They are also so satisfying to watch the enemies trample through lol. Do you have a footage of your bow and blade HS build? Would love to see what it’s capable of.

The guy below in the comments share a video of someone doing that on Aoi village. Obviously you can’t assassinate animals lol but it was like 413 assassination kills which is crazy and a neat challenge.

​Combat Regen can't get u back to full health, parry could (assuming u don't have health penalties). Each has it's usefulness. ​@@calibursavas

@@lcmhkice153good point. With health increase combat regen would give more. I like to run parry window on katana when I run leeching parry and I felt the melee dmg stats for the sword were important on this one.

@@calibursavasappreciate that. You should give it another go. Making it to W12 you surely can do it. Combat regen did work well for me here for sure. I also love leeching parry but normally run parry window when using it and wanted the melee dmg stats.

İt's really challenging. I don't really have time to play these days but my best was wave 12. I think you can do it.

My point is. With others around you .. the mobs / enemies are always moving which makes it very difficult to land a headshot hit on them.. which makes the weaightless bow hard to control = aka this build makes it difficult too .. Thoughts please ?

@@jasimalali4632 that's true. The enemies are definitely easier to kill when they are closely grouped together. However the staggering breath ult can be useful in team play in other areas. For example if you are holding a zone that is nearly overrun and full the ult can blast all of them out and buy some time to close up the zone. It may not be welcomed by teammates though. It's not ideal for speedrunning. Personally I feel the weightless is easy to land headshots as the arrows don't descend so no matter rthe distance of the enemies the headshots are easy to land consistently.

Appreciate the comment and kind words good sir. 🙏 Fire ronin can definitely be used at high levels. You just don’t see many players deviate from meta builds when it comes to higher level play. However, many non meta builds can also thrive and keep the game fun, interesting, and exciting. Fire ronin is a blast. Honestly I feel it’s better with smoke bomb though. I recommend you checking out my no damage fire ronin build as it is most optimal IMO. Faster and more efficient. Have fun and best of luck!

Dude for real! Preach lol I’m not sure how long you’ve been on the game but SP did indeed nerf black powder bombs a while back. They used to give loads of resolve like flash bombs do and they totally took that away which is lame. I could understand giving a bit less resolve from them but none! Come on lol sucks but is what it is I guess. Still love playing ronin.

Hey man. Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tutorial on shooting the skipping bow. It’s a little hard to explain. If I made one it probably wouldn’t be too great lol. But if your used to the weightless spirit it may make it a little bit of a challenge. You will have to intentionally slow yourself down on the R2/L2 triggers as there just isn’t really anyway to shoot skipping stone as fast as weightless and if you try to you’ll likely mess up your rhythm a lot. I do recommend crouching with your character when shooting as it does seem to make it faster and you just gotta find the right rhythm for dancing back and forth on those L2/R2 triggers. Don’t try to go as fast as weightless though.

Sometimes it’s nice to throw a few of those in there for the whole “only players that cant MMC don’t like it” crowd. Haha 😆 Not always the case lol Thanks though brotha! This week is annoying for sure but it’s a good time to play heavy melee builds and get back to the good old dodge and parry gameplay. I do wish other classes had a better shot at getting fire kills other than just hunter.

I'd be careful doing that and the dash cancel, keep it up and you'll have the extremists banishing you to Ghost of tsushima jail with the rest of us "cheaters".😁 You definitely make it look easy brother, I've had a couple of attempts and keep getting caught out one way or the other. I've played samurai on a few runs and it's tailor made for his melee heavy style. It would be nice if it registered deaths caused by any fire based attacks just to give the other classes a chance. I did have to laugh when the archer shot the barrel out of your hands in wave 11. I think I cursed him on your behalf.😂

Kinda blows my mind man but oh well….is what it is I guess. lol dude that freaking archer had killer aim on wave 11. I wasn’t even mad and that’s why I said thanks since his aim was just so on point 😂

Thank you and glad to answer that for you. So anyone can get maxed stats. The process is fairly simple. 1. Completely reforge your gear item to get whatever bottom perk you want and one of the stats you want at max or close to max. If not max then just keep rolling it up to max allowable. I also recommend making sure you have the other stat you want during the reforge process or you’ll waste a lot of time later. It doesn’t have to be maxed out but at least get the one you want. 2. This is the annoying part. Since the other stat you want is now locked. You will have to use the red cursed tokens to unlock it and reroll it or roll it up to a higher number. It sucks sometimes because one red token may only get you up 0.1. Other times it will get you more. Luck of the draw. Hope this made sense. I also recommend learning the save scum technique to preserve your resources for the things you want and not burn through all of them. Search that on RUclips. Mr Ephic plays has a great video explaining this. Also, I know a way to always get a red token in whatever category you need if you are out. I have a video on that if you care to know feel free to ask. Many players run into the issue of “I’m out of red tokens f**k!” lol

Hey what’s up bro. Right on and glad to hear he sent you my way that was cool of him. Yes sir I have done no damage solos in NMS with every class multiple times and recently got it on every map as well. Also me and my homie @pauloftsushima were the first players to undamaged duo all maps in NMS setting the stage for all those strats. Glad to see others in the community took those concepts and pushed it further. I can help with stats for sure. I will say though as a samurai main he is by far the hardest class to do undamaged runs with. Assassin and hunter are a walk in the park compared to samurai and ronin. Samurai’s ult is no good for undamaged runs. Best to run with hachimans rage (2 hit ult) but even than can get hit in the animation if not careful. Hope to see you go for it though and get on the up and up within the community!

I also really enjoy the melee components of this game. The best of any game IMO. But yeah going full melee in plat7 is crazy tough and risky!

I love the melee too though and have done some neat melee challenges in the game. Not in plat7 but in nightmare. Here is one of the toughest ones I have done.
