@@neonpop80 Yeah, the MPC is definitely speaking to my soul. I actually sold the Analog Rytm just yesterday to a guy that makes House music so it is perfect for him. I felt the same way you feel about the samples. The sampling workflow leaves a lot to be desired also. It's still a great machine, just not for me.

@ I appreciate your honesty. Most YT is trying to manufacture hype, it’s nice to see people’s honest opinion even if it is different. Even with the Rytm, I still would like a 909 kit for example, which would mean samples. A bit of a nuisance to set up all the sounds but once you have a kit for it then it’s all good and easy and you can do all kinds of tricks with it. But honestly, I haven’t had the desire to go through the hassle when they’re loaded on my Digitakt faster.

@ side question. How would you compare the pads?

@@neonpop80 Well the first issue is that there are only 12 of them and not 16! Other than that, they are pretty good. The sensitivity is not bad, but to me, the MPC pads are better. The MPC pads are bigger and feel better...in my opinion.

That’s good. Maybe mine are faulty (bought used). When in sensitivity mode they don’t register with one finger unless I press hard and they almost dont reach the hardest difficulty unless I dig my finger deep and feel what’s behind the pad. I have to put them on Fixed and then I have to tap with two fingers for them to register more easily. This is only in performance mode, they’re perfect on other modes like Mute

@coziay7201 no it's still in beta ... I was going to wait until the official release, but I wanted to get a feel for it until then. One of the benefits for me is that they got rid of programs .. its all combined in the track, so no more confusion on if you've switched to a new program when you've switched to a new track.. much easier

You can quiz others on where a sample was used, while simultaneously crediting where it was derived from. I clearly don’t know the name, so that’s why I am asking…all you are doing is gatekeeping and restricting the possibility of more people appreciating it
