"If your not first your LAST!" - Ricky Bobby
It started as a stock 24k 2016 Jetta Sport 1.8T. She has a tune, exhaust and some other go fast bits. Stock 170hp/184ft-lbs now its pushing 250hp and 300ft-lbs on 20lbs of boost from the stock K03S turbo. The K03, K03S and K04 turbos from vw can all make good power; then when you let them breathe and turn up the boost pressure. They fly and make all kinds of fun sounds. Hope to see you out there!

Autocross + Jetta = FUN!!!
Просмотров 253 месяца назад
Today was my second ever Autocross event here in Brunswick Maine. The Cumberland Motor Club has been running these incredible events and I wanted to try. Turns out... I love it; and who wouldn't. Its a legal and safe place to race your car around a tight track for the fastest time. Hit a cone! 2sec penalty. Miss a turn or gate and your DNF. Meeting Ladd was very cool today. Thank you very much ...

Today I had my first taste of Autocross and I love it; much like I had presumed. The Cumberland Motor Club is an amazing group of drivers that we're very welcoming and it felt like a big family immediately. Watching drivers push the limits around the Private Brunswick Airport was special. Hearing seriously built track Carts, Cars and Trucks rip around at speed is a type of fun that I hadn't exp...
Ford GT40 1965 Ken Miles, practice car. Cold Start!

Today was a special treat! We are here at the famous Owls Head Museum, Midcoast Maine. The owner of this beautiful 1965 Ford GT40 with a 289CI V8 decided to start it up and take a victory lap! This is the real thing, no replicas in this video; and what an absolute treat. This is the car Caroll Shelby and Ken Miles used to practice and develop; before shoehorning in the famous Le Mans winning 19...
Maximus Raceway Review!

This is a video of my first experience at Maximus Raceway. Since this video was created they have installed brand new CRC Carpet and Click-Track! You will need a clean car, with shock guards and chassis protector. You'll need to weigh your car to make sure it meets legal Racing weight. I think this is the finest place to Race RC's in Maine period. There is a clean bathroom and a large back room...

This new track layout is totally wild! In a great way too. The spiraling part is really fun. then you hit the straight to the corner. Swing a hard right and straight into a tight left the straight around the Double jump without hitting the Doubles jump like me and snap your spindle and crack a insert. Then you hit the small jump with a 180° direction change to the left with the biggest double w...

I succeeded in not breaking my car again... Qualify/1 ripped my wheel right out of the spindle! So I raced my Mini directly after the the 17.5T Buggy broke. I decided to fix my Buggy asap by ripping apart the front spindle and inserts. The spindle and one insert were broken. I was told by my track buddy Dennis that they make aluminum inserts that are much harder to rip out. I would like to upgr...

These Stadium Trucks take up alot of floor space making the track itself feel smaller. That's why I absolutely love Mini Racing because the track feels 3 times as big. This is a great race with loads of perfect lines and great saves. Being consistent can get you higher on the podium faster then being fast! Please like and Subscribe. Peace Out ×

Does the 2 screw thats holdingv the servon on the mount come with it??
I just got one and not sure if my steering survo is a faulty but It can't keep center point for steering and then you use the alignment on the controller to fix it and it maxes out and now can only steer one way. Maybe the teeth skipped on the servo?
M…I…P…. Not mip
Your notes on the video - both Porsche and Audi have longer consecutive wins at Le Mans than Ford (‘81 - ‘87 and ‘04 - ‘08).
Pre Gurney Bubble. The 289 was more drivable.
SWEET!!
Short and sweet! Subscribed.
Sorry one ugly car
😳 you are kidding?
@@EllisonLowrimore still ugly yesterday car I know it worth all this money slow ugly you ever drove one if you did zl1 1le smoke that slow pig
Issues with the steering wheel is because the gt 40 was a lola copy with a bigger engine.
WOW ... 😳 ... I'M IN LOVE!!!! 😍
You said it "what a car".
the door looks ill-fitted … i hope that's not an issue. very nice otherwise
This video is so 2012
Be careful with Lectromotive! Sprayed on my TT02 on accident and my body crumbled like a coffee cake!
The car was a great car but not superior to any of the others in the race, What made the difference was the unbelievable Driver and the team manager having the balls to push it beyond normal limits ! They rolled the dice and won !
I miss school carpet racing I'm building another rig all my gear was stolen i will be ripping again soon lord willing
I would kill for that automobile, beauty, power, handling, and just plain monumental.
Agreed 👍
And it doesn't even have a 300 cui block pushing it.
@@RobertGuidry-f3f yeah, modded 289, I bet that bad boy flies.
@@fredrickmillstead2804 It destroyed the field in how many races? Yes it drfinitely did.
Bloody hell an American car with the steering wheel on the correct side of the dash 😂
😂😂😂
English car.
Bag a shite 😅
How do you get your truck down so low?
Alot of guys are running lowering springs/shocks. Also different height shock towers makes the ride change. Some run a heavier weight shock fluid so the cars squat and absorb bumps easily.
The little 289 is a screamer. The best sounding v8 ever made.
Dropped a 260 into my 67 coupe, replacing the lame 200 straight 6. Didnt scream but what a differnce. Mounted side pipes with flipped thrush mufflers. Sounded like a thousand hp or open headers. Worst handling car ever but sounded cool with a bit of juice. Oh the eighties as a teen.
The ‘s’ is silent in Le Mans . . .
Mr Ken new his stuff. Shelby and him great team.
Massachusetts plate? I'm sure that car is illegal....everything is illegal in that POS state.
I know. I live here.
In a garage somewhere… memphis raines and atley jackson are jerking to the exhaust
Why is the steering wheel on the other side?
These race cars were produced in Great Britain where right hand steering is the norm.
Whilst some say because it was designed and built in England (it was), which is right hand drive, that’s not the reason for it being so. The Ferrari 330 P3 they raced against was also right hand drive, and Italy is a left hand drive country. It’s because Le Mans, like most circuits, is clockwise. Mainly right hand turns. So putting the driver on the right puts their weight on the inside of the corners, better weight distribution.
Ferrari hearing that noise! 😳😳😳😨😨😨😰😰😰
I’ll take your word for it, on account that I didn’t see shit.
Was that in brunswick
Yes sir
😮 damn bro I wish I would’ve went hopefully next time I don’t have the boys does not look like a fun place to chase kids room
Practice makes perfect my man looks like you did great for your first run
I was trying to be as polite as possible. On accident he smashed me with his elbow then popped me out of Tiptonic and it went from 2nd to 3rd and I lugged hard. Then you can hear him say get on the gas! But he made me over shoot my cone so the only DNF I had wasn't my fault. I'll definitely be listening to my own plans from now on. I had a great time
Lmao screw the camera hang on!
Did you guys notice I had to push his knee off my shifter along with putting my left window up because I thought he was going to throw it out. He got a few seconds of track footage
Thank fuck someone with actually helpful shit. Thank you for the part numbers i genuinely appreciate it.
I haven't been racing RC lately. But I hope you enjoy my new content. Hopefully I can do both soon.
Have any of you tried the HR Racing Aluminum front A-Arms? I installed a set on my Mini-T 2.0, and there's a ton of play where it connects to the bulkhead/hinge pins. Any way to remedy this ?
I only run RPM A-arms because they are twice as strong as stock. Better fitment and design of the arm itself. I've learned its best to go 25% plastic like A-arms and or body. Then 75% aluminum or titanium. These plastic flex points are good for racing. If you go 100% aluminum you will break more. At least thats how it is when your indoor carpet racing.
If you have more questions just ask.
It’s still conductive but reduced a lot .. … still safe to do what ur doing either way
Who told you what distilled water wasn’t electrically conductive?
Do u find that the shock screws on the front of the rpm arms poke through?
At some point in time something went terribly wrong and they started to build the Fiesta.
Yeah Ken miles died in that thing..

Correction re the record wins at Le Mans.Audi and Toyota have won Le Mans 5 years in succession. Ferrari actually did it 6 times 1960-65 and Bentley equalled the GT40 back in the 20s
Ss hardware, little guy gotta be heavy
Great painting
What an absolutely wicked sound. Badass.
I have one that puts that in the dumps...
Would you recommend SCT or 2wd buggy for a beginner class? I know buggies handle and jump better. And I know SCT are more forgiving when you accidentally bump another driver or wall because of how the bodies cover the wheels.
Shelby retired in 66 after Miles's death and Ford withdrew funding from Lemans......... So 68 and 69 were JWA cars that where the polar opposite of Shelby's philociphy, there the Mk2 was the heaviest most powerfull car John Wyer took the origanal Mk1 and built the 3 Mirage cars (Gulf cars) and on a shoestring budget to prove the Mk1's could do it. Of this story John Wyer is the man!! Shelby gets credit but without Wyer there would be no Shelby, No Cobra's, no 1959 Lemans win, No introducation to Eric Broadly and no sugestion they use the Lola Mk6 GT to reduce development time, ever wondered why every real Gt40 has the Chassis number on a JWA plate?? Because he made all of them at the FAV facility in Slough (well apart from the Mk4 and J-car). Shelby famously said John Wyer was his mentor!! and everyone gives his credit to Shelby lol.
H-A-P-P-Y
LOOK AT THAT 68 SQUIRE WAGON!!! OMG also!
Actually you have to thank ferrari for this.
Only because Ferrari was so rude to Mr. Ford when Mr. Ferrari had it for sale. That made Mr. Ford decide to go Racing at the highest level! One of my favorite stories of all time even before the Ford vs Ferrari movie came out. My favorite racing colors was the year it was the Baby blue and Red Gulf Sponsored car! I've either owned one or built a replica in dozens of Racing video games. A hail the 66'-69' GT40's.
I'd like to post a historical video of the Ford GT90 concept! What a weapon
Actually the 65 Daytona coupe would have won it as well but this was just a bit better.
Two different categories.
Great video, such a cool car. Not something you see everyday.
