Hi Helen, I also like ketchup but the tub needs to be refrigerated. I don’t have a fridge so sometimes I have to use other things to put on my food. When the weather starts get colder, I can start keeping stuff in my truck. Enjoy your day Helen.

Hi Karen, yes indeed, this recipe is how my Mom made them. I use to sneak up on the pan and grab myself a piece of fat pork to eat, so delicious. The fat pork was used for the oil to fry with and yes it adds a unique flavour to the crust of the fish cake. No I haven’t Karen tried the Alberta savoury. I’m sure it’s good too.
