How the HELL did you get someone to give you a boat???? I'm autistic, which means I dont work and couldn't afford a boat to save my skin, but NEED a project and want to get out on the water (I live in Brisbane, Australia, with it's amazing bay and an hour's drive north of the INCREDIBLE Gold Coast Broadwater, a boatie's mecca) but, for the life of me, no one wants to give me a boat. I've got no friends to have someone just give me one, I have a social disability, but holy hell, the art of charity is long long dead.

Bought a Shetland a couple of years ago have to get started on my refurb .towed it ten miles got it to the yard and the trailer snapped on the axle one god thing it came with a fish finder which bleeped when I passed the local chippy lol

Love it! I need something like this for my driveway. Too steep (downwards) to get my car on. It bottoms out and scrapes halfway down the car, on the exhaust centre pipes.

It's most likely closed cell foam, it shouldn't hold any water other than being slightly damp, if it had open cell foam in it, it would soak water up like a sponge.

Another very good blog but even though your outside, your breathing a lot of fiberglass there which needs force 8 mask with P3 filters

I don't know the situation in Guernsey but here in Aussie you need a powerboat license for anything with a motor fitted. Also I imagine you'll need to register it. Remember if you're not making mistakes you're not learning anything. Cheers Eric

i just did the fome thing. its not the foam its the stringers you need to chek out. my stringers turn to mud and the foam was dam
