    Lefts and rights can be a spine issue

    • @MADDHunts
      @MADDHunts 6 часов назад

      We thought the same thing, we shot two different spines for the UV arrows and they still shot differently, we also shot the RIP TKOs (off camera, the same spine we shot with the UVs and they all shot very similar left and right, the elevation changed with the DCA arrows to the TKOs but left and right was the same. We think it might have something to do with the helical, but we don’t know for sure. Regardless, if we account for the left and right differences on the UVs on our sight, they shoot very well! You just need to make the sight adjustment!

    I've been excited to see a head to head comparison. I just wish you guys were less biased towards the UV. I get your stance and agree usually. UV products are just ridiculous though and not even made in US like Stan.

    • @MADDHunts
      @MADDHunts 18 часов назад

      I agree with you 100% American made products are hard to beat! I have a Stan release and it’s been great as well! The bias isn’t towards just UV, it’s towards a company that has put countless hours and effort into a product, as well as the money into it, testing, designing, and marketing it, only to have a company in China rip off the product and sell it at a lower cost. Trying to make a profit off of the efforts of others and cheating your way into the industry is a garbage business in my opinion. I do believe that the fake will function… however if you have been shooting an original, there is a noticeable difference in the feel of the release. If you haven’t shot the original consistently then it might not be something you’d notice. I do love the Stan releases, and have nothing bad to say about them at all! This was just comparing the original and fake UV buttons. Maybe we can make a video comparing the UV vs Stan releases?🤔

    reason I went with Halo is because they offer quality over brightness. The Halo nock is stiffer than the Nockturnal. will lead to better downrange accuracy. The Halo nock is one single string groove vs the Nockturnal has the first string groove (this is where the bow string is at at draw) then when shot, the string drives into the second valley to engage the light. I just dont care for this. I run mostly 4mm arrows and the Nockturnal Shifts are complete garbage!!!!!! half dont work out of the pack and the other half break. Feradyne as a company is Crap in my opinion. When it comes down it, I will HAPPILY take a less bright nock that is quality and lighter vs a brighter POS.

    • @MADDHunts
      @MADDHunts День назад

      I agree 100%! I haven’t actually used the nockturnal shifts but I have heard not great things at all! I like the halos alot, and they’re wayyyy easier to use and after hunting with both, the halos definitely hold up better! A lighted nock is no good if it just breaks on a pass through!

    They do really look good all covered in blood! Kansas whitetail blood that is! Honestly they are not that much more than other premium arrows fitted with premium components. They do perform. I have found they group a little higher than my other arrows that are 10 grains less. Go figure. Maybe because they stabilize quicker or they have less drag. I'm not sure why.

      @@MADDHunts If you're talking price; Easton X-10 Parallel Pro with Iron Will Snyder Core components and an impact collar, Black Eagle X-Impact with either the Valkyrie system or the Iron Will Snyder Core system with an impact collar. If you're asking about the impact point; I shot the UV 1K (424gn), Easton FMJ 4mm with a 120gn glue in point (415gn) 11.5%FOC, and the Black Eagle X-Impact with the Iron Will Snyder Core system (field point) with an impact collar (414.5gn) 19%FOC. The X-Impact and FMJ arrows impact together out to 80 yards even though the FOC is quite different. The UV 1K group incrementally higher at greater distance ending up about 4 inches high at 60 yards. I haven't checked them further, but I assume due to weight alone they will eventually group lower. I need to shoot them a lot more. But like you, hunting season came.

      The people shooting left handed do😂 it is roughly 10% of the market, just while standing in Scheels, atleast 8 people came in and asked about the new bows (some elite, some Hoyt, some Mathews) in left handed and they had none of them🤷‍♂️ definitely not as many as the right handed folks but 8 in just a couple hours at one location seems worth it.

    • @Backcountry300
      @Backcountry300 11 дней назад

    • @Rknoutdoors
      @Rknoutdoors 11 дней назад

      I’ve definitely noticed some differences, I’ve noticed these guys have giant bodied bucks, they’ve got a couple videos where they go over them. They change a little bit when you head across the border, but I think the bucks in Arizona are overhunted, killing too many bucks as well as the bucks are smarter in Az making big mature bucks harder to find!

    • @MADDHunts
      @MADDHunts 11 дней назад

      I think deer in Arizona and Mexico have similar genetics! I think every Coues deer unit in AZ has the potential to hold a giant! The deer in the states have way more pressure and really do get over hunted, in Mexico we have ranches with 10,000 acres where we only have 5 tags on… that’s one of the biggest reasons Mexico has been “the land of giants” for so many years!

      You honestly couldn’t be further from the truth… the amount of time, money, and effort that goes into to it would absolutely make your head spin! We set up hundreds of trail cameras every year and make sure they all are running properly throughout the whole season. We have to go through every picture not just looking at the bucks, but the does and the fawns, are they healthy, are there more or less than last year. What can we do to help the deer population on these ranches. How is the predator population and what can we do to bring it down to increase the deer numbers! These deer live In the desert, they need water, we add water corrals for deer to use allowing the deer numbers to flourish in areas that were not survivable before… making sure everything is running on OVER 200 SQUARE MILES! Truly managing the deer at the level we’re doing it is incredibly difficult! All you get to see is the rewards at the end of it and you judge😂 I promise you were one of the best in the world at what we’re doing! Keep your hate to yourself kiddo😂
