this album is the culmination of almost a year of dedication, and a statement to the electronic music community. with everything from ambient soundscapes, to dubstep, to cinematic piano, to metal, i can't exactly place this record into any specific genre.
hence, i am coining the term "xyth-core" to describe it!
about 90% of the music i listen to is progressive metal, and the goal of this record was to make use of that heavy influence in the context of electronic music. i hope this record inspires the electronic community to do the same!
