I have the Caldera Closed with default pads. Which pads would be recommended for a bit more bass? What about the default mesh? Any advices are welcome, thank you

My dream headphones. Heard these are basically an upgrade to the hd600s, and the aeolus is basically an upgrade to the hd650/hd6xx. Is that accurate? So im assuming the auteurs are better for more genres due to being more neutral than the aeolus but the aeolus has "better" lush and warm mids that the hd6xx is known for?

Hi! Thank you for the review. I’m new to tube amps. Actually, I haven’t try any. I have the Meze Empyrean I and the Fiio fh9 iems. I run the Meze with the Fiio k9 Pro Ess (node x as streaming source and some mini discs from time to time) and I was wondering what tube amp will offer that Wow day and night difference. Will I get more of them by switching to tubes? I was looking at the ha-3a, but, unfortunately, I cannot demo any. Thank you so much!

Any timeline on the bokeh open-back? I’ve been dying to dip my toes into a pair of ZMF but I want to see what the bokeh open has to offer.

Was able to hang out there for awhile. Didn't get to see many of the amps due to the packed area. Lord Gwynn is a pretty cool guy, even with what he does in his main job.

I watched this whole video waiting for the deep dive into pumpkin spice and I'm left with all the same spice related questions I had coming into it. Sure it cleared up the preferred pronunciation of Bokeh and Aegis, but how do they spice the pumpkin?

JDS Labs needs to step it up already, and make equipment with XLR outputs. They've been sitting on the same, old lackluster designs forever now. And also Sennheiser - where are the affordable, competitive planars and/or estats..? Enough with the 25+ year old HD600 design already!! Do something better!

ive tried many pads for the 800s and what ive found is all of them kill the main reason you want to buy the 800s soundstage and accuracy. they do make them more comfortable and make music sound more energetic (perforated sheepskind and closed sheepskin) but that are the only upsides imo. if u mainly use them for music ye maybe but at that point i would just get different headphones for that and leave the 800s with the og pads. they loose the magic without the og pads

If anyone in the UK is interested in a stabilised eikon classic I have one for sale in brand new condition on eBay right now for £1200. Less than 2 months old not worn for more than 3 hours sound just isn't for me unfortunately because they look stunning.

How soft is the mesh on the hybrid version? It's kinda scratchy on the stock Arya pads, and it squeaks when rubbing up against my glasses.

The pad rotating was the thing I was missing to make a perfect fit. I had done the other two steps, but optimizing the rotation made a huge fit difference. The telling sign is my headphones can now rotate both upwards and downward from a wearing position. They are no longer being limited by the reaching the end of the movement range, which they were.

Does the fact that the pad's outer diameter is smaller than the OG pads also affects the sound?
