Or predatornhunting party that has been sent to earth to hunt a lone predator, its starts off like the old fim with marines in Afghanistan. The humans fighting each other think they're fighting suicide bombers and immoral soldiers but it's really the predators trying to kill the bad blood while also trying to keep their existence hidden from humans before shane blacks adaptation ruined the mystery

Or even another avp. But with marines coming across a predator hunting party after discovering what they believe to be the xenos home planet and been introduced to a new xeno species that live there. Only to find out by the end that it isnt a xeno home world but an old planet overrun fully by xenos and the new species of xeno are what becomes of the home species after insemination through facehugger. The predator being there to hunt them to extinction and cleanse the planet as the threat level is getting too high for their liking having lost several hunters there over the years. Get to see sweaty colonial marines again kicking alien ass and getting picked off by alien and predator alike. Awesome. Wed get to see a predator squad led by an elder who has more experience than you're average yautja and for the first time on screen. Awesome. And wed get something new in the form of the new species with a slowly unwinding mystery of what they are how to beat them and by watching the predator elder learn ways to hunt down the new thing effectively after taking heavy losses. Two marine squads in this one from the same battalion but split into groups. Adds that extra tension when you hear radio chatter from friends who will probably never see each other again but dont even know it yet. Awesomeeeee
