i've never hit someone but I feel punching a skull would'nt hurt that much, maybe because ive conditioned it slightly, but i've never hit a hard surface with 100% power, so I rlly dont know
Sound's like you have no formal training... no offence.. when i first threw a hook to a mugger it sent him flying and he fell. However that hook landed on his jaw and it broke my knuckle which healed for 2 weeks. However that was years ago... after years of boxing training. My recent bare knuckle encounter had me punching a much stronger opponent who luckily was all show bouncer material but had 0 skills or training. He thought he would soak it up being twice my size. When i punched him thrice at the side of his head, crossed him straight on the middle of his chin then lead hook to the same front part. The last hook had my middle knuckle dig into the bottom of his skin under lip. Which got cut instantly and he had his front tooth loose which had to be extracted later. Needless to say. After the first punch he avoided looking in my direction there and then However it was my own fear that lead me to throw a combination in return of a slap so he wouldn't be able to counter my ambush.. After this encounter i noticed, there was zero sensation in any of my knuckle but just a bit of skin rash on mu left knuckle where it caught him but zero pain.. Moral is: never cutted or injured anyone like that when i wear boxing gloves. But whenever i have bare knuckled face punched anyone it has caused them delayed recovery or prolonged injury.. it is best to hit the soft spots of the face as your hand has many tiny bones and nerves... if you really want to haunt someone by giving them a mental shock and personality check or ego death. Then striking on the forehead becomes necessary, a cut over there would also render the opponent incapable as blood from there will flow onto his face and eyes. He will panic and flee.. for this purpose the elbow is the best... make sure to condition yours on the heavy bag.. always use your skills for the greater good.
