This is car for enjoyment.. something what you will drive in summer vacation.. .. specialy if someone get convertible version of Ghia .. oh man, perfection. I agree steering is little bit tricky on stock.. but tweak/modify that little bit and is really amazing piece of art.

My bother had a Buick Riveria, this was back 60's, lowered w/buick wires wheel, green metal flake top, g/candy trim around top, bottom g/primer,45 rplayer Motorola vibrasonic system. I would take it for drive early Sunday mornings. Bro was out all night.

Someone restored it and drove and keeped it up! It's a good driver would prefer 2 door.

awesome car, brings back memories. my mom had one of these when I was born, and got rid of it when i was 6 or 7. I remember they had put a turbo in it that had all sorts of problems. seeing the interior is nostalgic. i was small enough to lay in that back window and look at cars behind us while we drove around the US. though I think hers had a burgundy interior color. everything else was pretty much the same from my memory, from the paint and dash, the rims...hers also had black horizontal lines in the back window. we'd blast meatloaf and billy idol in this thing lol.

I'm driving a black 2002 right now, taking care of it for a friend. Seriously thinking of buying it. It's incredibly impractical for my needs, but... I'm smitten. 😆

If I'm right, the center stripes are wrong. They should be offset from center towards the passenger side. And you'll break the stock 7 3/4 rear end often when drag racing. Upgrade to the 8in. rear. Also go with 14 inch rims. That's an upgrade from the stock 13 inch rims.

Man that is one lame interior for what was suppose to be a landmark model send off car ...the ext. still looks good but this particular era El Dorado had zero memorable design ideas for the int. of these cars ...Compare this to any of the 1960's or 1970's cars and you'll see how cheap , unimaginative and generic this cars int. looks compared to those ...I think it's the speedo & tach and gauge cluster that look so cheap and generic that bugs me so much ...Because of that this car did not age well ....Adding carbon fiber do dads to this interior looks pretty silly as well and shows a real lack of importance to the heritage of some of my favorite GM cars .....Short cuts get a big phuck off to GM for a real lack of effort from this Caddy fan ... ...

take the running lights loose and inspect the seals. They always rot out and let water into the cab or into the electronics!

The supercharger sound comes from the Pete Jackson gear drive. No timing chain. In the 80s, the PJ gear drive was HUGE. Everybody had one. Back then, muscle cars were everywhere. They were daily drivers. Don't see them on the road much, now.

I had a 63 Ford Falcon, all original except the tires. Paint was still original, just a little bit of rust here and there. Painted black original engine and trans...had to let tranny warm up first, because it will not move if cold. How i really missed that car. I wanted to drop a 302 with a c4 but ended selling it, i really regret it
