I doubt being light weight is actually a pro. Light weight could mean more vibration and not as sturdy. The pros should have included cheap price.

So..what is the exact bit? Bosch 3/16 glass tile bit? Part or item number? Will a Milwaukee glass tile bit that looks similar work just the same? I've got a scary 1995 ford f150 5.0 passenger front exhaust bolt broken off below surface at an angle behind the shock tower that I just CANT even get a hammer and punch to to get an angle drill with but starter. Can hardly get mini wire welder to it and even then it's at an angle. Damnit! I've got to try this. Any ideas or help? Thanks

I cannot beleive the overpriced junk you recommend. The only acceptable band saw at 10" size or ( worse ) smaller, is the big brother of the Rikon you recommend. With anything else you are getting junk ( often from same manufacturer but branded differently ( see 9" Ryobi which is marketted across a half dozen brands - all the same junk ). They are fussy; hard to adjust; impossible to align correctly & will deteriorate quickly. After a month or two of 'regular' use you will never be able to cut a straight cut again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Those aren’t even carbide drill bits (#2 on the it’s). Those are burrs, and aren’t for drilling holes. Was this video made by idiots?

Started using what you called step drill bits but us sparkies always call them unibits. For drilling g 7/8 & 11/8" holes for 1 /2 & 3/4" conduit box connectors use a much faster carbide hole saw. Produces 90% less chips and the USA ones last 25 times or linger then unibits. Have sets of fractional 135 degree , # & letter indexes of drill bits and drill doctor that will sharpen up to a 3/4" drill bits.

I think most people would like to know what routers would be acceptable for these tables.

Sorry, but no drill bit of Hi-speed steel or Cobalt can cut truly hardened steel. Only the Carbide burrs can cut hardened steel. Cobalt can cut up to 46-48 Rockwell hardness whereas true hardened steel starts at 54-55 Rockwell and exceed hardness levels in excess of mid to high 70's in Vanadium grades. Only Carbide CBN or diamond can cut such hard steels. In a pinch, a carbide tipped masonry bit can be used for a one time use, However, it is best to have several as they may require several per hole. If you know how, they can be reshaped with a diamond or CBN wheel to improve performance greatly. the next supposed bit he shows are not drill bits but carbide rotary burs for high speed rotary machines. Trying to drill with them will not only damage them, they can't wont drill even in a lathe or mill. It is not what they are designed for. Pure click bait! Absolutely NONE of these drill bits will drill through even 1 piece of hardened steel.

None of the bits in this video are for drilling hardened steel...you'll need a carbide bit for that. The XCSource isn't even drill bits, those are burrs for grinding and cleaning. Whoever did this video has absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

A TIP :Drilling stainless steel can be expensive because o drills cost a fortune and wear quick, to fix my problem i used a plasma cutter to blast a minute hole in stainless steel then used standard drill to open hole to right size works a treat quick and cheap. Give it ago. Ckeers
