As interesting it was, it still falls into the same pitfalls of detective games where you have to follow this one specific path to the solution. At the very least there could be unique failure dialogue for selecting certain piece of evidence and/or certain statements to help point in the desired direction.

Early again because just wanted to pop in around the 44 minute mark you question what’s the difference between civil and criminal trial. It’s a lot of minor details that ultimately kind of add up. Normally, in a criminal trial, you have the defendant and then you have to establish such things as motive, murder weapon, etc. etc. In a civil case you have a plaintiff (the party seeking damages )and a defendant (the party that is accused of some type of negligence or breach of contract or anything that basically does not fall under a criminal charge such as murder, robbery, etc.) Where you had to establish if your client or in this case that the defendant is truly at fault. Also typically civil cases tend to revolve around some type of damages, e.g. what the plaintive or defendant would be be rewarded if they win the trial to give to another person whoever won the case. We’re criminal trials. It’s who’s going to prison where civil trials be who’s going to prison and who has to pay money or give up something. So they might have their similarities but they’re fairly different. It’s some pretty interesting stuff procedures are done differently, discovery, testimonies, etc.; of course it’s rather hard to quantify in the usual ace attorney style. They tried in one game, but it was OK but looking more if you’re interested heavy duty legal nonsense but it’s cool.

I love the correlations. This game brings between so-called good necromancy versus bad necromancy. You have animate dead, which is considered to be an evil spell. But at the same stuff you have spells like raise dead or true resurrection, which both R classified as necromancy spells, but no one complaining when party member or beloved friend are being revived with those spells now are they? Also traditionally at least as of fifth edition, dungeons and dragons funny house spells like cure wounds, and fireball are under the same spell of magic, evocation, looks can be deceiving.

I just wish they showed the deaths of the victims like Danganronpa. That fangirling at the end... understandable. Really wish they make a sequel, but the multiverse thing... getting kinda tired of it.
