Genesis 1 is to be taken LITERALLY! The Bible is the inerrant Word of God! My most passionate purpose for this content is to bring people back to the Word of God, the Holy Bible as their standard, authority and truth. There are so many deceptions in this world and in the Church where people professing to be wise have become fools in their vain beliefs, philosophies & imaginations. As a Bible believer I realize that the Bible tells us that we live on a flat, non-rotating, stationary plane known as Earth. The sun, moon, stars and wandering stars (planets) move above us, the way as depicted in planetariums.

The sun doesn't cause the daylight any more than the moon causes the darkness of night. Daylight came before sunlight. There was an evening a morning that measured and defined a day for 3 days *before* Day 4 when the sun, moon and stars were created.
