Shut down of CO producing equipment upon activation of CO detector
Activation of CO detector directly above CO producing equipment will shut down said equipment. In this scenario, in a day care, a solenoid was installed to close the gas line upon activation of CO detector.

Most of the whining is coming from the automatic vent opening, you can see it happening through the tube right before the noise stops. You can also see the vent below the fan closing up...
They are actually called pressurization fans
Why would they be called so if they push the air out of the building rather than pumping it inside? (Just plain interest, no offence)
@@tituan9152 because they need to pressurize the air to Force the Smoke Out through the exhaust fans
Actually, in this case it is an Exhaust Fan. Just look at the pitch of the fan blades and the direction of rotating. That fan blows out of the building. Not to say that there isn't Pressurization Fans, but in this video that is an Exhaust Fan.

looking at the direction the rotor is spinning and the veins of the rotor, it is exhausting the air out.

@Fire Alarm Certification i've seen these in hotels with atriums and stairs. some are wall mounted and ceiling mounted. are these also being required in newly built homes too?

Why wouldn't it be identified as Fire Alarm Disconnect Switch. You are identifying what the disconnect switch is attached to and its purpose?
Because it may not be a disconnect switch - the disconnect means may be some other form - such as a fuse.
