zard control essentially plays like a more aggresive version of regular control, so youre not always going to use zard but it can be very good for agro pressure and late game sweep. Bravery charm only works on basic pokemon, so it wont work on zard but heros cape will still work and give zard 430 hp instead of the regular 330

@@PokeBingsta generally which one is better zard control or pidgeot control? My local scenes from what i seen is people mainly play bolt, dragapult, zard. I dont know about big tournaments

@@thadeusted6417 judging by how your locals sound, youre going to want to go for standard bird control with cornerstone. Youre going to want to have 3 mimikyus in there aswell. Against the bolts, youre going to want to get all 3 mimikyus in play and repeatedly counter catcher to bring up the raging bolt ex's so that they struggle to KO mimikyu. Against zard you litteraly just want to get cornerstone ogerpon in the active and spam eri & luxray V to get rid of rare candies and super rods so they cant recover dusknoirs. Pult is a little bit more difficult but essentially you want to get the dusknoirs out of play completely with things like eri to get rid of stretcher and super rod, then close out the game by penny looping bloodmoon ursaluna. However if the pult player benches something like lumineon or rotom you can always go for a retreat lock.

at the moment I would say something aggresive with things like terapgos, tera crystal and cornerstone ogerpon if its bo1 but anything could work depending on what the local meta looks like for you

It really depends on how each turns goes Lost Box can 1 turn ko duskull with greninja If the terapagos player can use 1 or 2 dusknoir the match is pretty much over

It does need two lightning energy to use it to be fair, and I wasn’t sure if I saw two of them in the deck. Either way, that Palkia deck probably should’ve ko’d it since it was the biggest threat on the board instead of popping Iron Bundle

its your list, u can do what you want with it lol. I would personally recommend a second heavy ball over a second rotom but I know a lot of people who would say a second rotom is better. It's really up to you though

is just one giacomo good enough to beat lugia? Really tough MU for pidgeot
