Riverside Outdoors
Добавлен 2 окт 2013
All things Falconry, camping, bushcraft, wild cooking, fishing and photography.
Done my own preferred way build on my own knowledge
These are not “how to” videos or tutorials.
Hopefully this is a video blog of the day to day life of a falconer, woodsman and father.
Strong believer that outdoor education is the best education so my three sons make cameos.
Also a zoo curator so you may find the exotic animals videos in here as well.

Can we get it back to its former glory
This film captures brilliantly what life was like at school in the sixties and seventies. The football scene was spot on. I couldn’t wait for the PE lessons to come around where we would turn out in a mishmash of shorts and shirts looking ridiculous but enjoying that half hour lesson of chaos. I didn’t like school my attention span wasn’t there. In hindsight I wish I was back there now. KES was a great film.
@@jerseyboy4751 the film still has a huge following and cult status. I think one of the reason is that so many people can identify with billy
😍😍😍
Eggs looked snotty
@@simonvalentine3860 and????? Please explain the point in this totally pointless comment or is it just a way to inflate the ego by criticising someone’s work
Awesome video
@@DaveCollierCamping thanks
Very nice. I also cooked on swedish torch. Wonderful experience.
@@explorediscoverenjoycooking thanks, I enjoy cooking on them, don’t enjoy the drilling much though 😂
I love the "land management" term, that seems like a more accurate description. As far as your 'justification' for hawking goes, if it was just about controlling rabbit numbers, you'd just have ferrets and purse net every burrow though, right? And, since they're an invasive species, you'd exterminate them all. I have to say I am *very* envious of the rabbit numbers you have there. Up here, south of Glasgow, I've got almost nothing for my Harris to chase, neither fur nor feather. Still flying him though!
Well said and great video
@@craigratcliffe7088 thanks mate. It’s about time people realised that birds of prey aren’t pets

Good video mate , tried lamping the other night with the young birds but moon was out and was way to bright 🙈 the rabbits saw us coming a mile away 😂👍👍
@@Thewelshhawker aye that’s what happened with us. It was thick with fog and then when we moved up the valley the mood lit it all up so the rabbits hung to the edges.
