Gridlife GLTC Mid Ohio Race 3 Onboard - 55 E46 M3
Can't keep up with the cars ahead, and just fast enough to prevent overlap from behind.
I set my best lap of the weekend (1:38.256 by transponder) on the final lap of the race, starting at 13:58.

Started P11, finished P11, but lost 4 spots on lap 1 with an off. Not super well driven, but probably my most interesting race all weekend.

2024 3 Balls Racing Season Opener, running in Group 1 which was a fun group to run with. Made some minor tweaks over the winter, and with GingerMan being fluky fast in 40 degree weather it was a good time to set a new PB!

I had to start from the back since I stupidly missed the grid and gave up my P7 starting spot. I was able to get hard charger and gain 9 positions back to P11 though. Car: 1994 BMW 318i

Turns out removing the rear sway bar on an E36 does improve terminal understeer. I don't understand the physics behind that one still.... The car is handling much more like I want now, but still more improvements to be made. I started P7 for race 1, and was able to finish in P8 after losing a ton of spots on the start. This weekend was an absolute blast. Still building the confidence of racing ...

Thank you so much to Ed for allowing me to co-drive his lovely Scion FRS for the weekend. It was such a joy to be driving an 86 chassis again. I absolutely love these cars and I want to get back into them whenever I can. Personally this lap was a total disappointment, since after the two practice sessions I knew the car could do a mid 43. Race 2 from my perspective. I was really happy with this race as I was finally feeling the groove of running side by side with people. I still need to improve my pace dramatically, definitely a bit of car tuning and driver mod required. I started P19 and finished P16. Car: 1994 BMW 318i. Credit to Squatch Media for the thumbnail.

1994 BMW 318i GLTC car (#55) First ever W2W race, first weekend at this track, and first weekend driving this car. So I definitely was not getting the most out of the car. I qualified P20 of 41, but just dropped like a rock with how passive I was driving.

My best lap from race 1 put me in P26 for this race. After doing a full transmission swap overnight after it failed in race 1, I was just trying to finish a race for the first time. Vehicle: 1994 BMW 318i

Started well back in 30th and gradually worked up a bit with some attrition help. Still not aggressive but I think that's expected for my first W2W weekend. Finished in P21 after some DQs, just two spots outside the points.

First time qualifying in GLTC with a new to me BMW 318i. Sloppy lap but it was the best I could do in that session. Qualified 20th of 41 to partake in qualifying.

Hey. Does gltc not allow 4wd cars like evos and Subarus to enter?...just curious because I haven't seen any
GLTC does allow AWD and 4WD cars. I believe there was a Subaru in the first round at COTA this year.

Hello. I'm looking to purchase a BRZ so that I can be in the S6 class. Do they allow any suspension mods/cold air intake? Or does it have to be bone stock? Thank you.
Hello! I would recommend checking this page and reading up on the rules. Since it's the SCCA there are an obscene amount of rules, but they respond to any rules questions super quickly. timetrials.scca.com/pages/sport-category Cold air intake is fine, suspension depends on the specific components. How many modes of adjustment and all that.
