Killing the Blues (Rowland Salley cover)
John Prine's version reigns supreme, but this song has meant a lot to me the past five months or so, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Very happy to have finally made the move to New York, and I'm especially excited to have the opportunity to help break in Carson's new studio. We're getting some really good sounds in there. All props to him for his audio engineering, mixing, and video production/editing expertise.
I'd also like to thank Ray Liotta for his surprise appearance.

I can't lie.... I'm a pretty big Prine fan but I feel this one more here when I hear it.
When I heard Robert Plant and Alyson Kraus sing this I thought it was Prine,I hadn't heard of Roland Sally,not surprising really as he was in Chris Isaac's backing band.
