All those 'bugs' that are on offer to be bought and consumed are 'farm produced'. They are grown in the most unappealing dirty dark sheds! They live in filth before they are harvested. Mostly eaten by Isan people from the North of Thailand. *The oils they are cooked in are often aged, rarely changed full of toxins and old carbons. Carcinogens. Beware of what you are eating.

Hahah when i was in phuket last year i went for an early morning swim on patong beach. I was staying across the street so the only think i brought with me was my sandals. I went swimming and wvery now and again i wiuld glance up to make sure my sandals were still there. Everything seemed fine until i got out to get my sandals and realized someone had swapped my nice sandals out for a crappy old pair.

Pattaya is nicer than angeles city boracay was better than phuket before it got sterilized bangkok is much better than manila. Cebu is equal to chiang mai. Krabi is nicer than subic bay. hua hin is too

'Showdown"? There's not even a conversation at this point anymore. Angeles is the minor leagues. Pattaya is the BIG TIME. Food, entertainment, scenery, and above all else the bars, the girls and the night life. It's never even been a close comparison and it's even less so of one today. I still enjoy Angeles, but I don't even think of it in the same sense as I do when I think about Pattaya and I will never deny that I don't miss Angeles, but I miss the Angeles of years gone bye, not by todays standard.
