    I have that blue Tonka truck, and the Power Punch He-Man-the only difference is that they are not new in the original packaging-that's the critical difference in value.

    I have a kit from 63. It’s a bonneville made by Palmer plastics. Unassembled. Box is in great condition. Parts in super shape. Instructions and decals still look new. Is it worth anything. Dave

    Take a hint model car manufacturers...bring back these kits instead of the 999th version of certain vehicles that seem to be re-issued every year or so. I can think of plenty.

    A ton of money but what cool lures especially that last one the Hungry Jack. I only have two 1940s wood lures that i would call vintage i guess but i only paid 10 bucks for the two in an old rusty worthless tackle box with the rest of the contents junk. I won't use them as you lose one there no real way to get it back unless you're in a Kayak or boat, so they are just to have & i have plenty of lures to use anyway. 🐟

    That was what the tool sold for, but factor in the shipping and handling and you get a realistic value of what the buyer thought it's true worth is.

    Very interesting video great presentation! Im sorry for those kind of prices they can keep their vintage models. The kits that are available today are ridiculously priced the way it is, and there are a lot of people that want to get into the hobby but you figure the price of the kit and paint and glue, and not to mention all of the great tools that are available today, it becomes very expensive, that's the main reason this hobby is not as popular as it used to be ! Fortunately I have enough kits in my stash to build until I die! I really had no idea that people would pay that kind of money for a model kit! Like I said great video, you did a good job!!👍

    On Mom and Dad's farm we had a lot of old tools that had came down from their parents and even grandparents so I remember several of those... Millers Falls, Sargent, Disston, Yankee, Marples, and possibly Shelton. Not sure on that last one. Almost all the tools sold at a farm auction over a decade ago but I still have a few. I've got Dad's saw (Disston), my grandfather's saw (Millers Falls). I still use the Yankee screwdriver and drill I have - handier than a cordless but as I get older their "battery" doesn't last as long as it did 30 years ago ;)

  • @billywalker9223
    @billywalker9223 Месяц назад

    I collect and use old tools. I have a few Millers Falls handplanes new in the box, and a hand drill. Also about 30 Disston handsaws, some older Buck Brothers chisels, Keen Kutter tools including an anvil, and probably a hundred Diamond Horseshoe and Tool wrenches. They all compliment the wall of Stanley tools, and the wooden molding planes and drawknives.

    • @xlerb2286
      @xlerb2286 Месяц назад

      We had several Diamond Horeshoe wrenches on the farm. I remember the logo, but they all were sold at an auction after Dad died. I wish I still had one of the old planes from the farm. I needed one a couple months ago and had to buy a new one from the local hardware store. After having the use of so many good tools for much of my life it hurt to have to buy something simple like that. And of course the quality while not terrible isn't anything like the old ones.
