I tried over & over to sync my older model Arlo (the egg shaped one) but when I tried to sync the camera would not blink blue at all (except when I inserted the batteries it would blink once. ) I had 4 Surefire CR123 batteries that were somewhat aged but tested in the green. They last 12 years & they are not that old. (yes they are in the correct +/- position.) Reset, did trouble shooting, nothing worked. Then I tried the AC wired adapter that I bought on Amazon for about $18 (many feet long wire). Synced immediately. So for whatever reason, my batteries were not good enough. What I don't like about the adapter is the connection wire is made very thin to allow the battery lid to close properly. I took a Dremel tool to widen the gap so the wire would not be pinched. That plastic is extremely hard... almost could not grind it down to allow a safe gap. Now i'll have to fill it with silicon caulk to make it weatherproof.

should’ve given this a shot. bluegill were rampant this morning, didn’t think to throw something in the middle just to give it a shot. caught 10+ bluegill though. where there’s bluegill, there’s most likely bass. good video!
