W Christmas program!!
If Jesus is the Son of God, what has that got to do with David? Why did you call David the father? As far as I know, the Word was made flesh through Mary.
Seventeen verses in the New Testament describe Jesus as the “son of David.” But the question arises, how could Jesus be the son of David if David lived approximately 1,000 years before Jesus? The answer is that Christ (the Messiah) was the fulfillment of the prophecy of the seed of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16). Jesus is the promised Messiah, which means He had to be of the lineage of David. Matthew 1 gives the genealogical proof that Jesus, in His humanity, was a direct descendant of Abraham and David through Joseph, Jesus’ legal father. The genealogy in Luke 3 traces Jesus’ lineage through His mother, Mary. Jesus is a descendant of David by adoption through Joseph and by blood through Mary. “As to his earthly life [Christ Jesus] was a descendant of David” (Romans 1:3). Primarily, the title “Son of David” is more than a statement of physical genealogy. It is a Messianic title. When people referred to Jesus as the Son of David, they meant that He was the long-awaited Deliverer, the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies. Jesus was addressed as “Lord, thou son of David” several times by people who, by faith, were seeking mercy or healing. The woman whose daughter was being tormented by a demon (Matthew 15:22) and the two blind men by the wayside (Matthew 20:30) all cried out to the Son of David for help. The titles of honor they gave Him declared their faith in Him. Calling Him “Lord” expressed their sense of His deity, dominion, and power, and calling Him “Son of David,” expressed their faith that He was the Messiah. The Pharisees understood exactly what the people meant when they called Jesus “Son of David.” But, unlike those who cried out in faith, the Pharisees were so blinded by their own pride that they couldn’t see what the blind beggars could see-that here was the Messiah they had supposedly been waiting for all their lives. They hated Jesus because He wouldn’t give them the honor they thought they deserved, so when they heard the people hailing Jesus as the Savior, they became enraged (Matthew 21:15) and plotted to destroy Him (Luke 19:47). Jesus further confounded the scribes and Pharisees by asking them to explain the meaning of this very title: how could it be that the Messiah is the son of David when David himself refers to Him as “my Lord” (Mark 12:35-37; cf. Psalm 110:1)? The teachers of the Law couldn’t answer the question. Jesus thereby exposed the Jewish leaders’ ineptitude as teachers and their ignorance of what the Old Testament taught as to the true nature of the Messiah, further alienating them from Him. Jesus’ point in asking the question of Mark 12:35 was that the Messiah is more than the physical son of David. If He is David’s Lord, He must be greater than David. As Jesus says in Revelation 22:16, “I am the Root and the Offspring of David.” That is, He is both the Creator of David and the Descendant of David. Only the Son of God made flesh could say that.
Beautifully written response!
Loved the boldness of each one to do their best!
That was the best kids program Calvary has ever done by far! The children were unbelievable and it was as entertaining as you could get watching these little ones perform so well .. Especially the doctor's secretary!! She was like a professional actress! They all were fantastic!!
They were phenomenal!! All that hard work paid off!
The children worked so hard and all of those who coordinated the production: Bravo 👏🏼 Thank you for a wonderful Christmas play!
A beautiful, yet simple message about Jesus and our hearts. Fantastic job everyone!

Thank you Pastor Aaron for the Amazing biblical truth.
The Bible instructs us to pray for our government. There’s nothing wrong with choosing the right persons to lead our country. Separation of church and state means the government does not control our freedom to worship .
@@petraschultz7292 and advocating for people who create policies based on Christian beliefs when the US is a multi-religious nation? Must suck for all the religious folk...
Seperation of church and state means nothing to you, does it?
I question if you even know what that means!
@jlkkauffman7942 evidently I understand it better than you.
Evidently not. Separation of church and state is letter stating that the GOVERNMENT shall not meddle and tell the church what to do. Not the other way around.
NO CON-VICTED RAPEST FELONS FOR PRESIDENT, IT'S UN- GODLY.
🎉🎉 wow nice 🎉🎉
Faith + Nothing
This is so true!

JESUS gave Peter and his catholic church the keys of the kingdom of heaven ❤ Why do you not believe JESUS but men?
Amen Thank you Jesus
Infernalists just love the thought of themselves being worthy of their salvation because they" made a choice" to be savedf of their "free will", they "accepted" Christ into their hearts and believed while the wicked unbeliever and sinner did not" while he still had a chance" (if he ever got a chance while he was alive )and therefore he has to suffer God's punishment which main stream Christanity in their destorted minds think is endless conscious fiery torment in the torture chamber which God has created , because that is what they claim the God of the Bible says he will rightfully do to his notorious unbelievers and wicked enemies. The same Jesus that told his desciples to do good to their enemies . The same Jesus who was hanging on the cross in unimaginable agony and pain looking down on those enemies who wanted him to be killed ,praying to his Father:- Forgive them! They do not know what they have done! Did God suddenly change? Did his unfailing love and forgiveness end and his mercy also? Of course not. God is the same forever. Why is the infernalists' pagan view of "hell" and God's justice and punishment still mainstream in Christianity? Why does mainstream Christianity profess a weak God who is not able to save the unbeliever and the wicked sinner against his or her "free will" when the Bible says salvation is a finished work of God and that you cannot in any way contribute to your own salvation? Did God have any difficulty in saving the doubter Thomas who refused to believe unless he got proof? Or saving Saul of Tarsus who perscecuted and even put to death some of the first believers in Christ? For many years I thought hell was real and it was a place of eternal torment where you went if you could not believe in this life. But when I was enlightened by preachers who showed from the Bible that our God is love, and that he therfore loves all the time and that his will is to have everybody saved in due time, and that his justice and judgements always must be controlled/ balanced by his love and mercy, a "new" God and the Bible opened up to me. I learnt and saw that there is no word in the Bible in the Greek and Hebrew that depicts an endless punishment of God. The punishment always has a start and an ending. I learnt that God's judgement and punishment means correction, correcting behaviour and mindset to bring forth rightousness in the person, like the pruning of a tree. Even death is not a problem to God. God is not finished with the unbeliever that could not believe in this life. Correction can be painful and griveous, and will lead to gnashing of teeth, but when you come to realize the truth it will make you rejoice and glorify God willingly. God's punishment never goes into eternity. 'Forever' and 'eternal 'never means forever in the Bible, but a long time, for an age or ages. Only God is forever. I learnt that the word ' hell ' does not mean hell in the pagan way at all, but that the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades which are translated Hell in many Bible translations simply means 'the grave'. Jesus did not speak of hell, but 'Gehenna', which was a waste dump outside Jerusalem, but now is a park. The parabel of Lazarus is not teachings about the afterlife but is rather Jesus mocking the religious establishment at that day for their destorted views and actions. From Genesis to Christ eternal torment for the wicked sinner is not mentioned. Paul never spoke of it even though he says in his letters that he speaks the full councel of God. If eternal conscious torment is of God, why is it not spoken of and warned of in the Bible? I learned death according to the Bible is the total absence of life, and that the soul and the body remains in the grave and do not depart to heaven or to hell, but that the person(body and soul) in the grave awaits his/her resurrection one time set in the future by God. Everybody will be resurrected and will meet Christ again and Christ's perfects all his creation in the end so that God can be all in all. Our new ressurrected bodies which will be incorruptible and never can sin or die anymore. Wow, what a great and just and loving God we have. He is not the psycopath God of the infernalists , but the true and just and loving God of the Bible . A successful God that tells the end from the beginning and will do "the impossible", ultimately saving even his worst adversaries there is. I learned that God saves Israel first, not now, but in the future, and that Israel then will become" a light to the nations" and bring salvation to all the ends of the earth. We who are so lucky to believe today when grace reigns, have been given to believe. Others have not, but in due time ,after God's own timing also in in the age(s )to come, he will save everyone. Now is always the time to believe, but God is not in a hurry. It is a blessing to come to the knowledge of the truth, and we can rest asure that God will reach everyone in due time.
Àmen hallelujah 🙏
God is glorified either way. He is glorified in His mercy AND He is glorified in delivering justice.

I like how you've had to lock the comment section of your Dutko sermon, because your flock of sheep has to be protected from the truth told by people pointing out his lies...
If anyone DOES want to believe the truth, AronRa has gone through the sermon and pointed out the deception, with several experts.
