How to get sharp images, huge question... I'm shooting with a tripod for the stationaly birds. And at slow shutter speeds taking many photos as one will be sharp. I've always used topaz, and the new topaz photo AI is good. As the 61mp will give a soft image and topaz just sharpens it. The software is a life saver.

Thanks, keeping the ISO low really helps in the poor light

It's the little things that helps the AF to get that faster lock and be able for you to get on the subject, I've been doing this for years. Very easy trick but really pays off.

I'm not using the tracking setting for the zone, the zone is just selecting the closest object. As I'm using 61mp then low light is a killer for me, I could well believe the AF would struggle

Thank you very much, all were shot with 1.5x in camera, every shot will be cropped and depending where the bird was some will be heavy crops. That why I chose the A7RIV for the crop ability. Check out one of my RAW Before videos and you will see the before and after and see how much I crop. You need to keep the ISO low though.

Lens is set to Mode 2, Mode 2 offers ideal Stabilisation for panned shots. I'm use Zone AF (non tracking) and my AF tracking sensitivity is set to 5, responsive. Check out my setting video to see how I have my camera configured ruclips.net/video/GbXgpPV3whM/видео.html
