    Chickens and raised beds do not mix well. I have pineapple mint, chocolate mint and orange mint. The chocolate and orange mint are invasive. I put them in their own container since they would end up taking over the entire container anyway. My wife likes to make tea with them.

      They don't mix well at all 😂This is my first year to have pineapple mint, and it's not enough yet to have a big harvest. My chocolate mint died back a little from the drought and is still recovering. Mint tea is one of my favourites!

      @@thehomegrownartist Well, if it makes you feel any better I will tell you what I did. Planted 162 cell tray with peppers. Did not have heat mat so I put florescent grow lights about 3 inches from top of soil. Apparently it got too hot, and dried out quickly and most died. Then I put them outside during the day when it warmed up. Got a rain and some died due to too much water. Set the tray without the catch tray and they dried out, killing the last few. Had to buy pepper transplants. Tomatoes did well. In my defense, I was in and out with my wife being in the hospital, but still was never that bad at growing seedlings.

    I just bought a hero 12 and I love it. I was considering getting a gimbal, but the pocket 2 can be had now for about twice the price of the gimbal. Any thoughts on whether you think the pocket 2 is worth it in 2024? It’s under $300 now and readily available. I’m mostly going to use it alongside my hero 12, but for lower light conditions. I know the pocket three has great low light capability, but it looks like the pocket two is no slouch in low light. I would love your thoughts. Do you think it’s worth it in 2024 since it’s under $300 now?

    • @thehomegrownartist
      @thehomegrownartist 4 месяца назад

      I think it depends on what you’re using it for! Over all, I’d say it’s worth it, but the low light capture is pretty bad 😂 you can’t really see anything. For me, that’s not much of a problem, but if you need that capability then it might not be the right thing. Personally I think it hold up well, and is still an excellent camera, totally worth it in 2024, but if you are looking for the low light capture as an essential it doesn’t really tick that box.
