Wasn’t like this when I went to MCRD SAN DIEGO. Our Platoon Commander (SDI these days) was a hardcore, but monotonous mofo. He reminded me of my dad. My dad would drone on with his lectures before laying into our hides…what I wouldn’t give to hear just one more of those droll lectures. They’re still making Marines though and that’s what counts
