My table goal is to earn at least "10 chips" (but not much more) -- then leave. I start playing green ($25). As my "bank" grows appropriately, I play black ($100), then purple ($500), and lastly, orange ($1,000). My bank is 40x my chip denomination, and my "super bank" (makes me feel more secure) is 80x my chip denomination. I play several times per week, usual under one hour each day. What I have yet to master is how to cut losses on that occasional bad day, when the cards go unusually poorly. BTW, I NEVER play online blackjack (and WON'T ever).

Thanks those are great tips. One thing I want to know is how to prevent a long harsh losing streak. Like when the dealer wins at least 45 out of 50 hands even when you play perfect basic strategy. I don’t count but I would wonder if this means count would stay negative for extended periods of time and the count would be negative all this time.

Done this before, works well until a loosing streak. I think I heard that if you loose 6 in a row you are supposed to restart from original bet and continue. The idea behind that is you are likely to profit most times before loosing 6 in a row so over time you make money but I get impatient and go all in

I don't want to sound like a know-it-all. But you can get away with the Martingale sytem, just don't abuse it because it'll catch up to you. I have done the Martingale system and luckily havent passed 400 dollars. I only do it whenever I'm up in profit. Plus casinos have max limits to stop you from betting doubles for the rare and ungodly 6th or 7th losses you could suffer... Its rare... but definitely not uncommon... my friend could tell ya 😅😅😅

I 100% disagree I always put £2 on every side bet every hand and I land a G3 quite a few times which totals out to around £530 win on the side bet so u might lose 20-30 playing the side bets but it’s all worth it if u trust the process

Basic strategy is also to surrender 17 vs. A if the dealer hits soft 17 (which they do in most games).

I should have left…. Here’s my story. Went to the ATM down $1,500 bought back in for another $500. With that $500 I had a shoe of a lifetime and ran it up to $2,700! Met some cool cat at the table who said if we win or lose this next hand we both leave the table. I agreed & we won that hand. Then became good friends since on the way to the cashier!
