Rescuing Broncos On The OTHER Trail To Idyllwild
Просмотров 2667 месяцев назад
Many people believe that Bee Canyon is the only way up to Idyllwild from Hemet. But less than 2 miles past that is the Old Idyllwild Control Road that intersects with Red Hill Road. Together they lead you right into Pine Cove! Follow along as we search out some sledding hills, and maybe even help out a stuck Bronco!
Um… There’s a ROCK THERE!

How To CONQUER Heart Attack Hill - Pinyon Mountain Trail Anza Borrego
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.7 месяцев назад
It's one of the most intimidating obstacles known in the Off-Road community here in Southern California. A nearly 45-degree drop down a 200 foot slope in the middle of the harsh and unforgiving Anza Borrego Desert. In this video I give you a cinematic look at how to make it down this iconic off-road drop-off, and walk away with you Jeep Badge of Honor!

Both the Gladiators running 40’s or 37’s?
40's on both
@@Blubicon Good to know. As a kid we did the Dusy trail many times in Willy's and CJ's with 33's and open diffs. Times have changed. Gonna pick up a Gladiator soon and I wondered how much it would need to do the throwback trail of my childhood.
Sorry if I missed it but what tires are the gladiators running?
Both running 40's
Wassup brotha been thinking about 40”s on my somewhat stock Dana 44s. Trussed, sleeved, and gusset the inner c’s and now I’m getting closer to pulling the trigger on some Mickey Thompson Baja Legend. How’s blubicon holding up with the 40”s?
Bald tires 😂😂
Hammer down driver. If you ain't first you're last.😂
Wrong tires!!!!!!!!!!
Need a good set of chains
Airing down got nothing on a good set of chains. Wheel wisely.
"welp, i guess we're goin!"
lol
Whereabouts on the trail is the v-notch and bypass. I think you told me at TVJO that on 35's and 3" lift I'd likely want to bypass the v-notch.
Hey there! We're quite interested in your posting content. We have some car related items. Do you accept sponsored products?
Bruh
Savage!!!!!
Full float axle conversions. No problem.
Too much $$ and not necessary 😎
did you say the initial gate keeper is worse than anything on "Holcomb?" did you mean Holcomb Creek in Big Bear?
@@zipzip5807 yessir, fordyce is in a totally different league
@@Blubicon HAHA I can see that. It's my dream to do Fordyce one of these days. Hats off to you guys for pulling that off!
Great trail. Ran it late sept. 2023
It was really fun 😎
That white JK is nice!
Sure is!
Congratulations 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
Try doing that to an 07 JK.
Great video, thanks for making it!
Welcome to my neck of the woods. Let me know and show ya some "short cuts"
Yessir, can't wait!
@Blubicon look forward to hearing from you when it cools off out there!
Dude shut up and video 🙄
We used to take the connector all the time, Corral Canyon was our day trip from San Diego for rock crawling. We were jeeps and Toyotas, but fun is what we had.
We got up the first waterfall in a stock-height Lexus GX460... got to waterfall 2 and saw nothing but blue skies 😆 didn't even notice the bypass for the 2nd waterfall... definitely need a spotter at that 2nd one! ❤
No Sidewinder bonus line footage? The V-Notch? The Soup Bowl? Saw yall go down one of the bonus lines the easy way where the locals use the bypass to loop around and go up for a challenge before continuing on. But, the Connector is no joke. You dont hit the connector, it hits you😂
Our first time there, so we didn't know the local layout.
Lmao I just got five 40s delivered and I was gonna ask my friend to help me because he has a truck. Turns out that I can probably fit three on my JLUR without removing the hard top, and I'll have the wife take the other two in the back of her Cherokee latitude, damn things have a lot of space. Currently running trussed and C gusseted RCV'd front and chromolied trussed rear. Lots of 1 ton guys giving me shit because I am not gonna spend $16k on a one ton swap 😂😂
How long have you been daily driving with beadlocks? What r your thoughts??
They are not beadlocks. They are just a removable protective steel ring that prevents wheel rash. Look up Rugged Ridge XHD Wheels.
Still happy with them? I’m looking at getting a set and going back and forth with these and the Dynatracs
Absolutely! Best decision I made for running 40's.
Bucket list
Make sure to give yourself extra time to take in all the beautiful views!
So AWESOME!!!! Congratulations.
Thanks Matt!
Great spotting! I'd wheel with y'all any day! Nice
Hell yeah! Thanks Robert, hope to catch up with you on the trails soon 😎
Congratulations!!! Adding this winery to my next day off
Looking forward to seeing you!
Congrats Dave! Is Bella Vista kid friendly? My wife is looking to get a new wine club membership…
Yes we welcome well-behaved pets and children =)
Congratulations again Dave😊
Thank you Neil!
Where is that trail at. State
Nevada
Just west of Las Vegas, about 25 miles towards Pahrump
Congrats!!!🎉
Thank you!!
Second time im commenting on this video lol. but what sized tires were those gladiators running? Looking at getting a gladiator. Would it be crazy to try to get through this on a gladiator with a pop up 270 pound camper in the back?
Both Gladiators are on 40's
Think it could be done with a gladiator on 37s?
Yup! Just go slow and be careful =)
Plastic putty knife works great for removing the decals...
Awesome
Took on Winch hill 3 bypass lol
No buggies on this trip, sorry bro
@@Blubicon I don't have a buggy and i sure don't claim to “take on” a line that i don't even attempt. Must be a jeep thing?
@@BoostedFJ bypass is on the far left my man. It's OK if you don't remember too well.
@@Blubicon haha you know how you can tell a noob? When they refer to the far left line (the one that never existed) as the bypass. News flash noob, you took the bypass. The only WH3 line is the one you bypassed. Stop calling it the buggy line. If you’d like to know the buggy line it’s to the left once ur in the pinch line. Don’t argue with locals that have 20 years on you.
@@BoostedFJ looks like the years are getting to you there old timer! I totally get it that you don't remember the obstacle, it's ok the brain just starts going sometimes =)
Awright. That was pretty good. Thanks for keeping the music down, too.
Nice crawl man 🤙
Dude it was!
New anxiety and fear achievement Unlocked. 😅
Haha so true!
Cool! Thanks for sharing your experience, on the horizon for me in the next year or so.
Of course! I have another long-term review coming up this Summer. Stay tuned!
@@Blubicon Sweet! Lookin forward to it
Do you do beginner run with your RUclips subscribers? I’m new 2 months in to my jeep ownership
Yes! Usually in November.
hi any chance you can tell me the tires on the last gladiator the whit one, thank you
They are ProComp A/T Sport tires.
ya think my slightly raised DCLB tacoma could do this?
100%, if you are OK with body damage =)
How do these effect camber with alignment
There is no Camber alignment in a Jeep JK/JKU
Such a fun obstacle! We just did it last week!
That's awesome!
